Ironically, when I was in Elementary and middle school I hated kids that needed academic validation, I was like "everything is ok at home?" But now that I'm in college my mental stability depends on my academic validation so... I became what I swore to destroy 😢😅

I am a student of 7 th grade ppl here study 9 hrs for a exam meanwhile i study for 4 and still be the clas topper and thats what makes me so happy so if i get second in anything i care from the day i was 4-13 my whole life was on academic validation making my parents happy cuz the highest grade i got is a100%

Last year my science grade was 98 and this school year it went to a 90. I did everything, I have a decent score on every test, I participate, I had over 400+ score on her activities which was over 510. It would have been better if it was 91 or 92 but just not 90..

I am in desperate need of validation. Constant inferiority complex, the greedy urge to be the best among my peers.

Checklist:
• A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧
• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧
• a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨
•Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈

Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.

You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. 📖

Never been one of those, i studied all day all night and it never paid off, F been my best friend since i remember, today when i need to study it makes me sick cause it never worked out. But now it does? I changed school and it does something now, some time ago i learned that my old school was faking grades, i am so happy that now all the time i spend studying while begin young paid off.

i hope my hard work will pay off. i worked so hard this time. this november 20 ill be seeing my final grades, wish me luck and pls remind me to update by then!

It's that my looks are not it that's why I try harder to become an academic achiver, I try to be good at everything, so that I can be labeled as intelligent and talented but really I feel like exploding anytime. This year, my grades are lower but I’m trying so hard. Math is starting to get worse and harder. We are expected to learn the math lesson in under a hour, then we carry on to the next lesson. Same for other subjects, it’s rough. Currently becoming a burnout, it sucks. Last year, I lost most my motivation because I tried so hard and got such good grades, but no acknowledgement. I’ve learned that no matter what I do, I’m not gonna get acknowledgement or love from school or just teachers in general. It’s rough to get everything done in such little time. So I decided to just give it up a bit, but make my grades good enough that I’m passing. At this point, my safe and happy place is soccer. Literally it makes me so happy, it’s just such a comfort place. Also, in “Little Miss Perfect”, the love part is so true. Because when I told my friends about my crush they were like “I bet he’s ugly”. Why do they always say that..? It actually makes me upset. They act like I have bad crushes because I don’t understand love. Soccer is the reason I started having crushes. My current crush is Matai and he will forever be my favorite crush. I don’t wanna let him go. I wasn’t sad when we let Zach and Alex go, but I don’t want him to go. School is burning me, but soccer is like the water that keeps me alive. <3

I was the perfect student when i was younger, no score lower than 100% and i had countless national competitions that i won, my family was happy with me, i was happy with myself, but in the pandemic i just completley burned out, my grades now fell to 90%-100%, this made me start hating myself to the core, develop depression, and later on because of kids at my school also develop body dysmorphia ( i barley eat so i kind of look like a twig yet to me it seems like im fat, anyway, this is besides the point ) 5th grade i got a scholarship, won a national biology competiton, things were kind of looking up, it seemed better, then 6th grade came around and at this time my mental health issues appeared (bdd and depression, and yes these were diagnosed by a professionall) so i had a really hard time, started doing sh and didnt really pay that much attention in class so my grades fell down (80%-90%-100%) currently i entered 7th grade and im really trying this year to not get low grades anymore, i really just want a clean 100%, not in math, i understand im bad there so il only get like 80% there but still, i hope il be able to fulfill this dream of mine to get back on track. Dont get me wrong, im still one of the smart kids in my class, i just dont feel that way because i was raised by my parents to believe that only the 100% was good and anything else was trash and i was a failure if i got it, which led to my feelings. Im healing and im trying to get back up tho, to anyone who feels the same way or felt in similar ways, im sorry for you and i hope ur okay, remember to take care of yourself and love urself no matter what, and please remember that healing takes time but its possibile, so do ur best and try to help urself. While reviewing for upcoming exam my teacher didn't say the correct answer on a question she wants us to guess it, the day finally came and that's the only question I got was wrong, 49/50 and It still hurts to think about it, I know it's not that deep but I just want all of my scores to be perfect.

its 12:30am and i just finished my studying. i should be doing more but i dont want tooooo

its my first year of high school and last quarter i got two b's and barely got more than a c on my midterm. i ended that quarter with a 3.500 gpa. this quarter so far i have a 4.0 gpa and my next test is monday(its saturday, technically sunday cus its midnight ig) and ive been studying every spare minute. i know the material like the back of my hand but like what if its not enoughh. i took two tests friday and i have no udea how i did. spanish and math. ugh.

edit: (for context my school has an accelerated schedule and we have midterms twice a year and finals twice a year and take semester long classes) i have finals coming up and if i want my 4.0 gpa im studying morning for an hour and a half, during lunch and break at school (55ish) mins after school 2 hours absolute minimum, closer to 3 hours
