Adults who drink in front of their kids at a place intended for kids is a certain demographic of people that seems like they would cause trouble… and guess what demographic did they attracted by serving alcohol in a place intended for kids.

This will just serve me as a reminded that perhaps behind every jerk there was a parent who caused drunk fights at Chuck E. Cheese birthday parties.

Should have mentioned how one of the incidents was the inspiration for FNAF. (I believe)

As a parent who has been to a chuckee location recently, I can tell this: that place is so loud and depressing, I can't handle it without alcohol. But I get that some can't hold their liquor.

my mom used to take me to chuck e. cheese aaaalllll the time, like twice a month. until one time i was suddenly too big for the play tubes and got stuck trying to turn around in one of those bubble things. i cried and never went back. pretty sure that contributed to a lot of body image issues, now that i think about it.

Today marks the day I learned you can buy the arcade prizes (Chuck E Cheese, Dave & Busters, etc.) with real money. I am 20. I feel betrayed.

The recycling pizza scandal reminds me of how it became a viral myth that movie theaters recycle their day old popcorn. As crappy as my job at the theater was, we never did that. It was freshly popped every day, and we were tasked with removing and throwing out the popcorn from the concession stand every night. We'd sometimes donate bags to Little League teams and community events, also freshly popped less than an hour before it was picked up. Say what you want about big theaters, but we never sold old popcorn.

I always spent what felt like half of my time there running around trying to find spare coins after I had used up all of the ones I had. Looking under machines, pressing the return coin slot thingies (Was that a thing I forget), and messing around with the games even when I didn't have a coin to play them. Now that magic is gone :c

It’s almost like there’s a clear correlation of who’s violent in all these situations. What happens when thousands more low lives go to fun family wholesome places and flood it with their horrible behavior and lack of parenting. Always lowering the property value and driving away the good families being replaced by hood families.

it’s such a shame so many restaurant establishments in general abandoned animatronics; i’m OBSESSED with them. when i was younger i unfortunately never went to an establishment with the full make-believe band but i vividly remember seeing exactly one chuck. e animatronic on this stage thing and just, staring at it in marvel (and minor fear 😭)
