Brandon Leake Will Make You EMOTIONAL With His Spoken Word - America's Got Talent 2020

My dad left when I was a toddler. He found by my older sister when I was a preteen but he still remain distance. 25 years later he came back into our lives, I wanted to write a letter to him about all the pain he caused but now that I’m turning 30 he is more in our lives now and our children lives. I don’t need to write a letter anymore. I found God and forgave him

At every age, this poem is truly a reflection of my life. The only difference is that I met my biological after 26 years of living

I'll be 30 in three days, and I love spoken word but never truly got into it until I went to college and we had our own spoken word club and watching this brings back so many memories. He is great!

I’m a poet/writer, and it’s an absolute dream of mine to perform like this. It’s amazing to know that he’s the first poet to do something as big as this, cuz this honestly gives me hope and further rules my fire of passion to take more steps towards my dream. This is so inspirational.

I relate so much to this. I adored my dad and he gave me up when I was ten and I never heard from him again. Pain like no other.
