Remote controlled mains socket installation Eveready

I seem to have issues with these, i press a to switch my lamp on, ok. If i want my tv on, which is b, ok. Problem being, both a and b control both switches which is incredibly frustrating.

Yes, but i have a set just like yours and no matter which plus i assign to a certain letter on my remote control , when you press any number on the remote it turns on all plugs. Any idea how to sort that out?

So what's the point of button C and D if you can only assign one plug to one button? You only get two plugs in a pack so you can only assign 2 of the 4 choices of buttons?

Can i put this in the wall socket then plug a extension lead in to the remote control plug or is that to dangerous I need to run about 4 plugs tv/amazom/ the sky hub box

for anyone with issues of the remote controlling all plugs with all button. Here is the fix. Plug your plug into the mains, wait for the light to flash. Now press and hold the off button at the bottom of the remote until the plug light flashes then goes out. You have now reset the plug. Switch the mains on and off and when the plug light flashes press the number you wish to assign to the plug. Sorted.

I think you're lucky. Mine switches everything connected on with individual buttons and everything off, you can't choose. So useless. I suspect Everready's brand isn't wnat it used to be. Avoid.
