Easy Raid Farm Tutorial | Simply Minecraft (Java Edition 1.18/1.19)

How the trap door opens bcs it’s not opening for me when the raid spawns they just sit there how do I get the trapdoor to open n wash them down

This farm is also good for xp in early game or even late game if you don't need millions of levels. But seriously this farm is great for enchanting in early game because classic mob grinder and dungeon spawner xp farm ARE SO TRASHY, THEY ARE THE WORST FARMS EVER, I ONLY GOT 14 LEVELS IN 5 MINUTES! So if I would want to max out my items with these it would take hours because I also disenchant a lot to get the perfect items, like sometimes I have to disenchant a pickaxe over 10 times to get fortune III

I am trying to use your explanation about the mechanics to build a farm that is not a tower in the sky (I avoid them whenever i can.)

What i have made so far:

Found me a little ocean in my world that is surrounded by land (more than 64 blocks away from the center (between 70 and 85)
There is 1 little island just on the 64 mark (It goes 10 blocks out from the 64 circle and around 30 inside)

After spawn proofing most of it i have managed to control where the raid spawns and by using a 3 wide gap with trap doors the raiders wander a little and fall to a 3 deep pit with a water pusher towards the lave to kill the ravagers and a hole that drops them to bedrock level so they are not part of the raid anymore.

Like this i manage to spawn all the waves in a go; even thou it is slower than your method.

What happens then is that the raid ends with no victory or defeat once all the mobs have fallen in the chute.

So I tried to raise the mobs back using a bubble elevator but they would add back to the current wave so i tried delaying them using Cobwebs and made a killing chamber in -48 (64 minus 96) so i get bad omen from the captains.

It is much less practical than your design and still seems buggy.

Some times it would spawn only 1 or 2 waves and end, sometimes my bad omen disappears once i climb up.


Logic thinking told me that moving the mobs 112 blocks away from the farm would discount them from the raid and it does, and in theory if i kept the killing chamber down in -56 i would also get bad omen, but this has only made my raids buggy and unreliable, i dont care much for the Victory or hero of the village but if the raid only spawns the first 2 waves i am not getting totems neither which basically defeats the purpose of a raid farm.

Any advice? What i am understanding wrong here ?

Hey Guys ı would really reccomend this farm beacouse this farm is easy to build and u get very good loot bcs all the raids spawn at once but ı would reccomend that u have like a milk bucket chest bcs if u wanna go to ur village it will spawn a raid bcs u get bad omen like infinitly on this farm But ı HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS

Thank you this was very helpful it works its great. And you should definitely build the Vex part, do not skip it, or they will kill you and you will swim a lot and no longer have bad omen because you are a little idiot who cant follow instructions

Wow, it was difficult to make it in Survival but it worth it, now i got a chess full of emeralds and a lot of Totem of undying.

The farm works flawlessly in 1.20… However, if your composter is not directly below the slab, don't worry! Simply move the composter and the villager.

For some reason when I get bad omen the raid starts but they don't spawn and I lose the effect when I go up the water tube. Any tips?

I have a problem.
I followed every step and It does have a good explanation. But the thing is I have trouble spawning the raid. I dropped down the chute thing(but I get hurt even when theres water) and went back up (with badomen) and the raid wont spawn. I did it in creative to test if it works before making it in my survival world. Can someone help?
The part with trapdoors and the redstone also. I can't place the water in/beside the trapdoors, It's really annoying to fix :[ i dont know what to do.
