The moment they have made most of the missions temporary in the Hitman reboot I realized I don't need this bs :)

Wonderful and very fun game! So many schemes to invent to screw stupid NPCs.

Its actually juat a serial killer simulator and thats why we all love it

Belladonna, changing clothes, job interviews are cool and all...

But,

Hitman: Codename 47: "I NEED TO USE THE BATHROOM."

I know how you said part of it is about doing things that people, in real life, would call you out for, or at least notice - but, well, youd be surprised; as in, in that way, the game is unusually realistic. 😊

You know, i dont think they use artificial sweetner. I think the 1901 & modern day is the same recipe bar one thing. And that is that the 1901 has just sat around longer - it has thus aged and had a wine-like effect; its not become alcohol, but like a non-alcoholic equivalent. Healthier too - though alcohol is healthy; the problem arises when it is consistently used to provide energy, whilst body has low energy, & thus inhibits body building up energy reserves; we all "cannot handle" more than a few sips or drinks when our bodies are low on energy - as a necessary boost is fine; but when our bodies have high energy in reserves, then tbey dont need alcohol, and hence the boost is more enjoyable, as behind it there is the sense of such energy; like using nitrous in Need for Speed; as opposed to giving an old dying person cocaine instead of medicine.

I think one of my favorite pieces of Dialogue is when you get spotted as a ninja in Hokkaido. If you overhear some conversations you get:

"What did he look like?"

"A ninja, a real life shuriken throwing ninja! I thought I was going to die. It was awesome."

"Command, the guy was wearing pajama's. Real badass looking pajama's."

Everyone started Hitman with the same route. Silent Assassin plus suit only. We focused on how clean we can kill these weirdos. But once you start restarting the mission, you do not need to do silent assassin anymore. Why? Because you already got the achievement. So go loud! Have Fun! Drop the difficulty to easy, and go crazy! And then you just realize, you are missing out 80% of the game.

If you just do silent assassin, you only clear maximum 10-20% content of each level.

What makes hitman great, is if you want to take the story super seriously and focus on 47’s interesting character, you can, but, and this is a big but, is that you can also entirely ignore it, and turn the game from a spy drama into a dark comedy.

Hitman actually using irony about the, "painkiller," and of course it's lost on everyone.

Clearly a lot of love and skill has gone into making this game. Agent 47 reminds me of Yul Brynner in Westworld.

I try killing every enemy (almost) in each level ensuring my stealth and violence ratings are full. It is as challenging as getting silent assassin if not more. I think the rating you would get is GHOST or PHANTOM

i have 60 hours on hitman 2 demo version

In BM, Silent assassin and contracts I didnt need to figure out secret shit for hours to enjoy being a silent assassin. In the reboot series all those "events" arent meaningful and take way too long to figure out in a pool of a sterile and dead scenes despite having 100s of npcs on the map...
At the same time, most levels can be beaten within minutes, despite being completely oversized.

Hitman was a niche product and it was good at it. Now it feels like assassins creed with some 007 elements.

I wouldn't call Hitman a "Murderer Simulator" but a "Murderer Sandbox". He's in the big three of stealth games alongside with Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid, but the freedom the Hitman games give you on how to conduct the assassinations is something else, you can replay Blood Money 17 years later and still find new ways to kill your targets.

The story makes this even funnier; Providence has been untouchable for decades and now some bald man with a barcode on his head is assassinating their members by blowing themselves up in their own vaults and feeding them to their pets

I like to think that the fact the NPC's are so stupid is because, story-wise, Agent 47 is lightyears smarter than everyone else so he is perfectly capable of outsmarting every single one of them. And how we see him as very conspicuous, that is because we, the player, from a standpoint of an all-knowing narrator are the only ones who can see Agent 47 for what he truly is. If you read the Hitman books, it shows brilliantly how Agent 47 can put on a convincing facade of any kind, the one instance that stands out the most to me is him acting as a jogger and making very sexist comments on appearance of a female passersby. Can any of you guys imagine Agent 47 as we know him catcalling an attractive woman like the biggest punk ever?

I agree on losing interest. Trophy hunting got me hating playing games. I need to get back to doing it for fun.

This game is really about realizing how a guard noticing me leads me to make them half notice me to come to my place and pick up a suspicious gun and leave their position

I remember my first time playing marakesh. I infiltrated the consulate, missed the chance, and got spotted by guards. I was running around killing everybody who knew who I was.

hitman has genuinely become one of my favorite game series because of this new trilogy, its just so much fun and so goofy yet cool as fuck i just love it, its up there with metal gear solid for me

Hitman is not a stealth game so much as a wide open sandbox for hilarious black comedy homicide that happens to reward stealth above all other approaches.

This is the way. Don't focus on the rules, enjoy the ride.

What I love is that when he does talk to characters, especially targets, he's so obvious with the fact he's a killer. His alias is named after the grim reaper and every conversation includes something about death or gruesomeness. He could walk up to the target, say "I'm here to kill you in exchange for money from a client you have made angry with you" and they'd laugh it off as a joke and immediately dismiss their body guards so they can go lean over a balcony below a hanging piano next to a propane tank standing in a pool of water with a faulty extension cord in it alone with the bald heavily armed barcode-having reaper man they met 5 seconds ago.

So it's another case of someone thinking a game isn't particularly enjoyable because they must minmax it and get a 100% perfect run, ignoring the 99% of the content in a game to do so, and then realizing that having fun is fun.
Unfortunately too common now that people play games like a second job or a competition instead of for fun.
