The thing that sucks is that if the zombies lose line of sight of you, they will stop chasing (falling into your traps) and starts to walk back to there place. You have to use distractor to get the entire horde to chase you again so you can funnel or pile them up for explosives.

I managed to get them to off themselves by playing Taylor Swift's "music" on loop for 29 minutes.

My question, how are you able to get some of the explosive devices which I never saw in my own game. Also, it seems you're able to craft as many molotovs beyond 3? I'm only able to craft 3 until I run out of materials but it seems you have unlimited materials for every explosive you craft. How're you able to do that?

There's a much easier way; sneak around the back of the barn, hide behind the wood stacks looking at the door, spam attractors and napalm, then take out the last 50ish any way you like. I did that for my first ever sawmill horde and never again because the biggest horde turned into an absolutely pointless joke.

Failed a couple of times but was finally able to take out this horde by using this trick.
The horde was not following me or were many times pushing me out of that roof maybe because I was too slow to take any action 😂 due to fear 😂😂😂.
But at last got the job done.

Tryharded five times in a fucking row trying to reap this fucking horde, who in their right fucking mind would make them THIS FUCKING LARGE. I'm using Crowdbreaker T4, the MG45 T3 and the SMP 9 T4

I have annihilated this horde long time before I had it as quest. And when I got it as mission and arrived at sawmill there was no one and i just got mission complete or something like that. Was a bit sad I cant fight them again. I did also ng+ run on hardest difficulty which is not hard at all, was using MG55 and IDF Pup and they made it walk in the park.

Christ dude the hordes are so fucking boring and tedious. I also messed up and didnt get the chopper gun which apparently is the most op godlike weapon in the world before leaving the militia so I don't think I'm even gonna finish the game anymore. Shame, I was enjoying it til now

This horde was one of my favorite battles I’ve ever fought in a game ever. I really wish they would come out with a Days gone sequel

Honestly, the way I defeated the horde was with cowardice 😭 I would get them all riled up, shoot as many as I can with the MG55 and Chicago Chopper and retreat back up the hill. At that point once you leave the ‘horde zone’ they all retreat back into the saw mill, I would shoot those going back to the saw mill, repeat that process two more times, and you beat the horde.

I was looting the Nero site there and forgot to cut off one siren that was hidden in the trees lead the entire horde directly to me
