Wonderful explaination sir. Just one confusion, we didn’t specify the database name anywhere in Code first approach. Then how it is creating that database with name as Sample??

Hi Venkat,
How to create Entity Framework with multi-database like SQL and Oracle.
Do you have any sample that entity framework supports both providers?
Shall I use Schema First or Code First

Please advise on this. Thanks

very nice and informative, however, very simplified like all tutorials online, and does not provide a fair explanation about deeper matters like navigation properties and foreign keys, parameterized constructors, and without using auto property definition...let alone, inheritance and more complex stuff...not everything has to be "Employee" \ "Department" example.

Hi Venkat, why are most of all your videos now blurry? looking at your MVC vids from years past. Most are not watchable, even full screen they are not clear enough to read what youre coding. the audio is fine but need to see the code

Good video venkat.I have one question. i'm trying to create database in UserDbContext constructor using "Database.SetInitializer<UserDbContext>(new CreateDatabaseIfNotExists<UserDbContext>());" But iam not able to create database. But When application runs if datbase not exists it should create database and if already exists update database without applying migrations command in packagemanager console.
Could please help me to solve this issue?

Hi Venkat, one quick query on this tutorial, how the tables got created with primary keys although you haven't mentioned that as a key in the "id" property in Department class and "id" property in Employees class?

if it's done by default, then is there a way to create more keys (composite key) by mentioning any syntax available?
