► WTF Is... - Neverwinter (Beta) (Hyper WTF Edition) ?

I played it for a short period and then switched to SW:TOR. But actually, now that i revisit this video ... uff, it sure did look real nice back in 2013

This game was fun, for about a month, after that it gets repetitive and grindy, progression is locked behind a paywall and you start to notice how really the same everything is, especially at endgame, definitely a front-loader.

NW is such a beautiful game! I don't have a fantastic computer for gaming, but even I can have the graphics up fairly high. Gorgeous graphics and D&D themes are sweet! Highly recommend this game. Rogues particularly are very fun, but GWF can be a chore : /

3 minutes into this game i decided to play another game . Maybe its just me but it was painfully average

It's cool game. I've played it myself. Very fun, good graphics and fighting phisics but I got bored of the dark view. The name says it: everything is on fire.

From what I've herd this game is very much pay to win per say. Is it worth it?

i helped test this game i found it ok but i still preferred Cryptic other game star trek online nothing like helping in closed betas

Don't have to finish before released? Ive been playing this game for about 7 months now. Its been out for over a year. They have huge server issues, constantly being kicked and lagging randomly like a mother. Their dungeon grouping system is broken. You cannot manually invite a member into the group in a dungeon, if someone leaves you are screwed because you cannot replace them. Queue times are not just bad or long when busy, they are insanely unacceptable, ive waited over a hour at time to get queued into a dungeon or pvp. Everythings ridiculously overpriced, there are several different currencies, numbers for prices and abilities seem to be randomly pulled out of a hat honestly. Its pathetic what they have a year later. It was forgivable in beta, it was forgivable a few months after, its unacceptable now. It is CLEAR they only care about taking our money and nothing else. It makes me sick to my stomach how much I poured in hoping it would go to game development. I advice everyone to stay the heck away from this. Their fake F2P game is a gem they could have polished into something great but just crapped on to make some cash to work on their next project.

tb can you do another wtf is to this game now that it's not in beta anymore ? 

This game looks awesome, but i have just one concern. How is the community? Often times, up and coming MMOS that are superb, are ruined by the inactive and anti social community. Are there talkative and participating players? I dont want to play by my self. Kinda ruins the point of an MMO lol.

btw my raid rotation in WoW is 12 buttons. I don't get what this press the 2 key thing is all about. That is like Burning Crusade times he's talking about which was 6 years ago...

I wish more games would take dark souls as an example of of action combat were most swings are not attached to the ground but attached to the weapon. This is were the player steps and swings with weapon. For an example is a weak attack is an attack were you see that arms move versus a strong attack that take more time to connect moves the player like a step then swing. This comes from the idea that not just the weapon is dealing dmg but the human or player is a weapon itself. Hopefully DS2 will bring more people to the game and other mmorpgs take notice to most of the designs that should go into any game. Another thing that I notice about neverwinter is that they the dust trail on the floor. If the level design was that of DS the player would see something in the environment to draw them that way or if they go down a wrong path it always pushes them the other way. 

In for 100h by now and I'll laugh in the face of anyone who says this is P2W. The only reason you would 'need' to buy from the zen market is when you are, quite plainly speaking, too incompetent to make it on your own. :'D

Very VERY bad ending content. only 2 extra small pvp map for sooo long.

They destroyed the title ... character models are from 2004, the gameplay is awful, everyzone is instanced and this is just the begining ... its crap.

If they're D&D nerds, why did they pick 4.0?

i'm surprised how good this game is actually is, wasn't expecting this form a f2p game, very fun and addictive, the combat is better than terra !

Man This game is zo much fun!

I actually really love this game. I sunk in 44 + hours in 3 days and am level 28/60. The end game is level 60. There's a lot to do, but the main things to do in the game are dungeons, looting, and 5V5 PVP. It's really easy to make parties with people for quests or raids.I haven't spent money yet, but I'm tempted to only because I feel like I should be giving back :). You don't need to spend money in the end game, it's actually through PvP that you unlock the really good end game equipment.

I had no interest in the game before this video, but a lot of questions were answered, and I'll definitely be looking into it now :)

Whenever I play D&D, I always use my intellect to kill enemies, instead of just attack. I always found D&D a strategic game and they should add interaction to the objects in the room.

In my opinion, Dungeons & Dragons is too good of a game to make a game out of.

Does hyper wtf edition just mean there are guests in the episode?

It's entirely Free... until you want to get Zen to open lockboxes or buy more character slots .

I think this gmae deserves a "wtf is neverwinter(out of beta edition)" when their newest content Shadowmantle comes out.My reasoning for this is because on the community's forum of the game there is great controversy,whether or not this game is actually worth your time.I've played the game I love it's combat system but I am starting to think that the classes are unbalanced.I play GWF and I notice that rogues with less GS than me outdamage me in PvE but in PvP I feel like a damn monster.

id be ecstatic if theyd just make a campaign creator based in a similar game to neverwinter nights 2 (but an up-to-date version) that included every monster in the standard 3.5 monster manual. ofcourse the goal would be to allow DMs to create their own campaigns and play them with friends, as well as share them with others, so theyd need to be able to add custom voice acting. the selective scripting system would also need to be massive. ... IGNORE ME. im just dreaming again.

Until you play the game (which is completely free to play) you won't understand the eviscerating action this game offers. Watching gameplay videos isn't even a viable supportive concept.

Not even close. Besides, anything that is remotely pay to win is completely obtainable in game, it just takes some time instead of getting it instantly for 20$ I doubt you even played the game or even looked into the shop

I have to say Cryptic really have out done them selves on this one. Bravo this game is breathtaking at how fluent and interesting it is. been playing since open beta and im hooked more than i am with guild wars 2 and WoW

How does this game compare with Dark Age of Camelot? I still play DAoC and can't seem to let go. And for those who do not know, DAoC created, broke grounds and set a lot of standards for mmorpg games and player vs player combat. Worth a look. As for Neverwinter, it looks solid and interesting.
