Redneck mechanic here, not sure what your electrical problem is, but I've never encountered an intermittent electrical issue that wasn't something loose on the grounding side. I recommend looking up common grounding points and making sure they're secure and then tracing wires back etc. Happy to discuss further if you'd like.
ОтветитьWatching Akela & Kobuck play is almost as much fun as you & Chris together!! Definitely a 2-way match made in heaven. 🙏😊💕💕🌿
ОтветитьWood pellets, for horse bedding is the best thing to use for compost. With regards to smell and everything else. Once they get damp, it turns to dust and you get the wood smell. And then you can bury that with the compost. It’s also inexpensive.
ОтветитьCoffee add nitro soil organically, I also put bananas, for potassium added to soil
ОтветитьGOD be with you for ever sweetheart
Ответитьanyone else think Chris looks like Nahko Bear from Nahko and Medicine for the People?
ОтветитьI'm totally going to try the coffee grounds too. oh my gosh brilliant idea
ОтветитьGreat video thanks !
ОтветитьYour chemistry with Chris is admirable. It makes me happy to see you (and you both) happy in your life.
ОтветитьLove your video🎉
ОтветитьHow do you afford to live on the road full time ??
ОтветитьHave you read any books in the Sean Stranahan series by Keith McCafferty? I think you'd enjoy them. Mystery series set in Montana with a trout fishing artist/private investigator. I think you'd appreciate the beautiful descriptions of the rivers and the fish.
ОтветитьThanks for the videos. I noticed your video because of Akela picture. She is beautiful. I bought a used van to travel with my older Belgian shepherd. I haven't finished the build yet-it's going forward slowly. Questions: You don't have a water heater in your van? I'm still thinking of it as I'll be snow sometimes. Love the stove. Also what kind of wifi system you use to keep connected to the world? Do you have a list of all the parts/ items used in your Van?
ОтветитьDoes anyone know what camera Linnea uses?
ОтветитьYou two are adorable. Love that your dogs now have each other. Loved the hair washing. Lol. What a sweetheart you've found! Yaaaaay
ОтветитьAbsolutely love this
ОтветитьThe dogs galloping through the tall grass was so adorable! Now those are some happy dogs.
ОтветитьI love your videos Linnea! They are just so authentic and funny and interesting! Thanks for sharing your life❤
ОтветитьLinnea, sis, anyone who considers composting coffee-flavoured poo can tolerate a LITTLE spankin' (all within your boundaries) 💚💚💚
Btw, I also use coconut coir as a friend to my waste...lovely. I dont hydrate it though...Nature does that 😉
Ha. I love watching Alone. And you guys. :)
ОтветитьGreat video! Tanks!!!!
ОтветитьCongratulations, patience is a virtue. You did well.😊
ОтветитьI seriously think about you every time I watch Alone! I am like, Linnea could totally win this!
ОтветитьNot all the way into watching your video but wanted to comment on using coffee instead of coir before I forget lol! As someone who's into mycology, coffee has a tendency to speed up bacteria & fungal growth as it has nutritional value. I'd assume its great for composting in a general sense, but with that knowledge, it might also speed up the frequency needed in changing the compost in a toilet situation.. as fungal and/or bacterial growth could expedite and cause unwanted smells, gases or moisture changes. Coir on the other hand isnt nutrient dense, and acts more like a substrate that helps distribute and equalize moisture. If you wanna experiment for the the rest of us coffee drinking, compost users, I would love to hear the end result lol!
Side note: love your channel & gram and hope to meet you and Chris on the road one day!
❤
ОтветитьGood luck if you ever try to survive on alone if you need a scope. Hope you get it fixed though. I can see just an episode of you and Chris pranking each other (and maybe Akyla and Kobak) after that 😅
ОтветитьWe tried the coffee in the toilet. Too much moisture, it was yucky lol. Maybe if you put it out in the sun to dry then throw them in!
ОтветитьLove watching your adventures.
ОтветитьLove the brown trout!
ОтветитьI have fished since I was a child—could catch, clean, and cook my catch since I was 12, But I have never fly fished. It looks so fun (better than watching a bobber😆). And it sure looks enjoyable watching you. Keep smilin’.😁
Ответитьmy pet peeve is the sound of generators when out camping... all day and alllll night.
ОтветитьCongratulations on catching your first brown trout!👏👏❤️ Small Brown's are what my friends and I have been catching on the Pecos River here in NM after the devastating fire and slurry dam break last summer. We are soooo happy that there is life still in the river!!!!❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьMy 2008 dodge caravan hadal a code saying cylinder 2 fuel injector issue, which coincided with a miss in the engine. It never got fixed and works smooth and strong now. May your van do the same fix itself. yIPPIE
ОтветитьGoogle says:
Alternatively, you can also use fine bark mulch, hemp fibers, Terra Preta, agents with activated carbon or coconut fibers. Dried coffee grounds also work well as a scent coat in the separation toilet. It is important that the litter is made of a natural, absorbent material that is biodegradable.
Would you be willing to do a fly fishing gear episode?
ОтветитьYour joy is so infectious, I look forward to your videos every week!
ОтветитьSooo awesome
ОтветитьOld soul. Nice to see someone who appreciates peaceful healing music the glory of nature and the amazing gift of peaceful soothing fishing. Enjjoy the perfection the beauty of it all. 😊❤
ОтветитьCoffee grounds do NOT smell nice as they compost.
ОтветитьWhat a great dichotomy, that generator and your laughter. 😅😊❤ hey Chris 👋
ОтветитьLove the 4 of you together!! I think you should do a blooper video, love how you end your videos!!
ОтветитьI've used fungus (mushroom spore) inoculated coffee grounds. And it definitely helps. Just drop some mushroom in there once in a while.
ОтветитьI love seeing all the beautiful mountains, forests, and rivers/brooks. It looks like the perfect way of life.
ОтветитьThat was the best video you’ve ever made! Absolutely awe inspiring!!!
ОтветитьOn a serious note.. You are amazing, all of you! I love seeing you both have so much fun and the smiles on your face. ( It makes my soul so happy.) I always look forward to your content. Keep on keeping on. ❤👍🏼🙏
Ответить" and then it will taste good" .. 😂 LMAO
ОтветитьYour videos put the biggest smile on my face 😁 thank you for sharing!! 💚
ОтветитьPeace Joy Love
ОтветитьI hope this is okay to comment. I just really care about you guys and hate not bringing up something you said in the podcast. Although bones do clean dogs teeth it's not nearly as safe or effective as one would think. It can cause unnecessary wear and cracks in the teeth. Your german shepherd isn't a wolf. She's a man made animal what with selective breeding and all. So you can't expect her to eat like a wolf and clean her teeth like one. It works to a degree but it also risks your dogs health along the way. I understand you worked at a vet? Then you should understand how dangerous it is to suggest to an audience that they don't need to have their dogs teeth cleaned. And you should know how bad buildup under the gums can be. And how painful a cracked tooth from chewing bones is. Or how dangerous an obstruction is from bones. I understand you were probably just chatting and not considering every little detail. But please don't neglect your animals people! Mouth health is so very incredibly important. I wish you the best. And beautiful catch by the way! Absolutely beautiful fish. Stay safe!
