Best SD-WAN Solution 2022 | Cisco vs. Silver Peak vs. VMware VeloCloud

Great video man, I chose Cisco last year for our rollout and have been immensely happy. It took me many weeks to figure out what you put together here. Pretty sure you could have sold me this info for some decent cash while I was figuring all of this out last year :)

Cisco is more stupid not organised, silvepeak is top and quality stable one, slowly they loosing market 😅

Just now cleared the "Versa Certified SD-WAN Associate" exam and stumbled upon your video! Excellent and informative video. What do you think about VERSA which is one of the leaders in Gartner's Quadrant 2022?

Talk about excluding the elephant in the room, Fortinet has had SD-WAN since 2016 and have been higher ranked than anyone of the brands you have cherry picked in all Gartner reports since 2018-2022. I am quite confident to say that their install base is also one of the larger.

None of these have inbound control period. Velo and SP are per packet viptela is not.

We recently looked at all of these in depth: VeloCloud Vmware has terrible support - pass, Cisco Viptella is way more complex than it needs to be compared to Silverpeak and CloudGenix. After a bake-off between SP and CG, we went CG as we are also a Palo Alto customer and their roadmap is excellent

Naj, with regards to VMware SD-WAN. You missed a key VMware differentiator with regard to Optimization- Dynamic Multipath Optimization (DMPO) - the secret sauce that provides assured APP performance and Quality of Experience. Also, routing - VMware supports BGP, OSPF, and static routing. There's a reason VMware SD-WAN is at the top of the Leader quadrant

I use VMWare Velocloud daily. It's nice but quite often there are monitoring issues and VMware can be slow to resolve.

Nothing beats 128T SDWAN solution. CVS and Advanced Auto Parts are using them. They are killing it.

You’ll see many VRFs in Gov networks, company groups or ventures, and bank/financial. VRF segmentation is becoming very popular and the new standard for any vertical.

Cisco supports 62 VRFs for most platforms, and up to 300 for ASR-HX.
