I kind of like my Samsung Galaxy A54 5G.... I really never liked Samsung Galaxy 📱 Phones, but like I never had a Samsung Galaxy Flagship 📲 Phone before but I do have Samsung Galaxy 4 Smart Watch ⌚️ I've always been an apple guy. I had all different kinds of iphones growing up my previous one was the apple iphone thirteen and when I used to live in Virginia So when I was working down there in Virginia I bought the iPhone 12 which I thought was so cool and so amazing. I loved that..My first Apple Phone was a Apple IPhone 6 and then 7 plus and others

But UFS in A54 is just 2.2 which is nt happy to say for 400 dollars

I think wireless charging kills the battery faster than just simply connecting tge wire

Just picked up an A54 at Walmart for $139.

I like them both, buy I like an SD card in my phone. I'd go with the Samsung because the pixel 7a would have to be "much" better for me to go with that considering I would have that easy copy of my files to take out of my phone with the Samsung whenever I'd need to.

Things that put me off with the Pixel are hot, slow charge, short battery life and poor reception. Sort of killers for a phone. Shame, because the cameras are good.

what is not mentioned regarding the battery is the wireless in on the Pixel7a but it only approved wired chargers can be used on it. It only takes PD USB 2.0 and above. also has to be used with a PD approved power brick.

The problem in my country is that Pixel 7 and 7a are almost 100$ more than i can get A54. Good to live in US for those phones having basically same price. I bought A54 and i still think this phone is amazing for this price. Those little stutters doesn't really bothering me since it happens mostly only when u first time open or scroll an app/game while it's off ram or background running.

The Samsung a54 is a crappy phone. It lags, stutter, it's really slow once you start doing a bit of multitask, it will struggle real quick in every day use and it shows. The pixel 7a is a phone that i had and its wayyyy better than any crap a series Samsung. Its processor can do everything very easily in every day use as well as very demanding and heavy tasks. Its not slow, does not stutter, doesen't lag and has vanilla Android wich is way better than one ui. And btw Samsung have the worst screen on their a series. I really dont get why ppl still have that idea that Samsung screens are better in their little brain, because its false. Xiaomi Redmi phones like the Redmi Note 12 pro 5g have amoled display with hdr, hdr10 +, wide gamut color, dolby vision, flow amoled display, and it's as good and bright as the Samsung a54 screen. Sales does not mean anything, it's not because ppl always buy the same crap that i have to buy the same as them when there are wayy better choices arround.

I took a look at the 7a, nearly purchased one until i saw the dreadful display 😵‍💫 i thought the brightness slider was at half, but when i checked the slider it was at 100%

I am on my last Pixel. I have the Pixel 6 and I have had it for almost 2 years. I have found that the phone overall decent. The one thing I hate about this phone is that it keeps loosing signal. I can have it in my pocket and the bars will drop like a rock to 0. And when I take it out of my pocket the signal returns. I got a replacement and it still does it. I would rather have the Samsung A54 over any Pixel.

Pixel 7a all the way, samsung may have them extra stuff thst make it feel better but google takes the w here, although i will say wireless charging is disgustingly bad and slow like 2 hours seriously?

Wrong 8GB ram in A54

7a is for folks who want a smaller device, like 6a. 6a is better for weight. Sammy is just another average brick in pocket, many others similar, oppo, honor, nothing phone, you name it just slabs. Wireless charging is almost obsolete, good for trickle charging but mainly not much use.
