Hi Sir. Thank you so much for posting the video.
Please advise. I can't get my subwoofer to produce 20Hz bass; it still has punchy bass, which I don't want.
Should I use an aftermarket cross over like "boss" to get the 20Hz wavy bass?
I have a 12 inch, 2000watt Pioneer sub in ported box (responsive to 20Hz) with a dedicated Pioneer mono block 1000Hz amp in my car. The remaining midranges and tweeters each have their own 6 channel pioneer amplifier. Finally, I have a graphic equalizer.
Please advise, sir, if I should get a cross over
I, and tune it to 20zHz ? I have tried using several graphic equalizers, but none of them had a 20Hz bass knob to enable this kind of bas.s
Beautiful explanation. Easy to understand and on point
ОтветитьI have mixer console 450wx2, and speaker 600 watt 3 way speaker. This video helps a lot. Thanks
ОтветитьSir is negative value is possible in cross over
ОтветитьI am getting really stressed out trying to figure out information on speakers, someone please help me. I have several Pioneer speaker cabinets with ONE CROSSOVER BOARD that goes to a WOOFER, 2 FULL RANGE, 1 TWEETER, and 1 SUPER-TWEETER. Would that not mean the crossover circuit in it is a 5-WAY CROSSOVER? Literally 0 results that lead anywhere relevant come back from Google when searching for 5-way crossovers. Really frustrating I have wasted hours on this
ОтветитьIs there any reason not to have tweeter on top, woofer below tweeter and mid below woofer? Im working on a DIY project and can only put the mid under woofer. Is there any acoustic "rule" against this?
Ответитьi wish ther was no music on this video /... makes it so hard to pay attion, and hear what he is talking about.
ОтветитьThe audio of this video is weird...
ОтветитьWhy do we need cross-over filters at all when the speakers themselves are filters, as pointed out quite well? What is the difference between actively segregating signals in parallel versus passive filtering them by hooking up the drivers in series? It seems like a lot of fuzz for nothing. I am sure there is a good reason, probably something with power. It would complete the picture if someone would be so kind to shed some light on this.
ОтветитьI'd need to go to audio school to understand this
ОтветитьHighly useful information.
ОтветитьSo clearly and simply explained. Polished. You have an instant subscriber.
ОтветитьHate this video, it made me sub, I need more info xD
ОтветитьI think I blew my crossover in my Alto ts112. Most songswill only play on one channel meaning the lyrics are muffled or another instrument is muffled. Is it worth fixing? I think a new one is $300 but don't want to waste good speakers and the box of its a cheep fix??
ОтветитьShame about the racket in the background musak, VERY distracting from an otherwise good overview video :-(
Ответитьso for a 2-way speaker, is a crossover of 2kHz better or 2.5kHz?
ОтветитьJesus this a great video!
ОтветитьI love flaunce.
Ответитьthis saved me so much headache, thank you so much
ОтветитьI think i need crossover for my Yamaha NS-10m within my basswoofers
ОтветитьYou're the best :') !
ОтветитьAwesome video.
Ответитьim building a rack based sound system, and upon my shopping on thomann, i came across the cross-over rack unit section. this video perfectly explained everything meaning that now i know that a cross over would be amazing for my setup. subbed and thanks!
ОтветитьFuance straight up schoolin' these noobz! No, really good information for the uninitiated. Great video and awesome products!
