I hacked mine and was able to get one letter per line. I’ve read books from the future, with this method.

The tip doesn’t make sense. You get to read quicker because there are fewer text on the page BUT you get to flip the page more frequently

Change it to one letter per row so you won't have to do anything with your eyes apart from going down. You will read a book in 30 sec.

You are just moving your eyes quicker

Your eyes are moving along the same length of text, you make your margins larger and you would get a book with more pages. Also now you are messing up the rhythm (it's like you are having a microinterruption and it's easier to get kinda lost with so many of those jumps). Also you get those awful gaps between words. Trust me, we've figured out a lot in editorial design.

That's too short, you should fit on avg 9 words in a column, Im a designer. Everytime you go to the next line is an opportunity to end up in the incorrect one. But mostly don't do this because it's better to have a larger continuous line for the rythm, otherwise it's like hiccupy.

Makes no sense. Your eyes have to shift way more often from the end of a line to the beginning of a line. This is actually worse...
