You can learn a lot from Jesus the carpenter. Jesus had a heart well above the average Jew.
May he RIP.

Absolutely! Jesus could have sinned, otherwise he's not qualified to be a great high priest because he hasn't been tempted in every way such as we are yet without sin!!

You have right in a way and wrong in another one. Rabbi Yashua' is not here to correct your analysis, so easy for you. You have right, to resist to temptation is a great victory, but Jesus didn't stop on this, he said the one we stand and remains front temptation for a delight, it's a sin like adultary. I really don't think you have the knowledge and wisdom of the Torah like Jesus had, with all I listen from you.

I am truly humbled by the numerous former Christians whose eyes have been opened by the teachings of the Torah as elucidated by Rabbi Tuvia Singer. He has a huge merit for the number of people he has brought to the true G0d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. With his awesome work he will bring the whole world closer to the true redemption through the righteous Moshiach, not the red herring, Jesus.

Wait a minute, there is huge difference between looking at an attractive woman and recognizing her as being attractive and undressing her with your eyes and having lustful thoughts of her. The latter can be avoided. The whole premise of being graced by the holy spirit which is big part of the new testament is that you are graced enough to look at a woman and just say she is attractive and leaving at that. His explanation on the 10th commandment is perfect which is applicable to the thought crime of lustful thoughts. I never thought that Jesus was not capable of sinning; he came down as man with all the desires that man normally carried and still he was perfect.

I never believed in God until my awakening by Hid light. My sister who was very religious told me I was going to Hell because I didnt believe. I told her I dont believe in hell either. When you find God inside of yourself its a mirror. Jesus said we are all Gods.... creating our own myth.Only God knows your true heart and when you find God the song Everything you do I do it for you comes true.

Jesus being the Son of God does not mean that he is God in some way just because he's born of God. God called many people in the Bible by the title 'gods'. It didn't make them big g-God or a co-equal trinity with God. God called Moses of God at Exodus 4:16 in Exodus 7:1 and he called the sons of God at Psalm 82 by the title' gods'.

Jesus was a god in the same way that these others were little G gods because God declared them to be gods. This is evident at Hebrews 1:8. Gentiles coming out of paganism into Christianity confuse this because they're coming out of paganism where there are gods and demigods.

Jesus, even being born of God and through a virgin, still could sin. Scripture says he was completely and totally human in the first two chapters of hebrews, and that he was tempted as we are, yet without sin!

So being born of God did not make Jesus impervious to sin. Jesus was indeed great because he resisted sin in spite of being tempted! God on the other hand, cannot be tempted!

You find it so bizarre that Jesus could be born of a virgin, but you totally accept that God could bring about the birth of Isaac from an elderly woman past the age of child bearing.

And you find it impossible that Jesus could have fasted in the desert for 40 days, yet Elijah fasted as well trying to hide from Jezebel.

The very fact that Jesus went out into the desert to do his 40-day fast makes perfect sense because he did not want to risk being tempted to eat and break his fast. He made absolutely sure that he could not eat anything, whether he wanted to or not!

The obvious prohibition here is willful conscious sinful thoughts of adultery. Lust, the mere looking, is condemned in Job and Proverbs. It's almost as if Jesus' teaching comes straight out of Job 31. And is the good rabbi saying pornography, soft porn on TV, strip clubs, and so forth are not sinful? The whole problem with legalism is that it can't account for every virtue and vice action that could be taken in any given situation. The spirit of the law must be taken into account.

It's all fun and games watching the good rabbi dismantle the teachings of paulianity until he is forced to confront the final boss of those who believe Yeshua is the Jewish messiah: Lapid Judaism. It may not be so easily dismissed as "what's your evidence?", when piles of evidence are supplied through rabbinic sources... Fight in your own proverbial weight class :)

Keep up the good work, Rabbi.

I have read torah and listened to both sides, Christian and traditional Judaism. I cannot get past passages like Isaiah 53 when it talks about one man bearing the sins of men-- For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. How is that not Jesus?

How could Israel bear the sins of other people when they themselves were the ones who needed constant forgiveness? A nation that God had disciplined over and over again for their own disobedience, a nation that killed the prophets and hated Moses and Aaron in the wilderness, hated Jeremiah, Elijah, Isaiah.

And when the blessed prophet Daniel spoke about the four beasts, abomination of desolation and one like a son of man coming in the clouds of heaven. Jesus affirmed all these things as the son of man that Daniel spoke about and reveals it all in the book of revelation. David confirms it too in Psalm 68 -- God himself is the one who will be coming with the clouds, God is the blessed cloud rider.

Everyone that God counted as righteous in the Tanakh was made so through God's mercy, none of them ever stood before God and defended their righteous deeds -- well maybe Job, but he was severely humbled. Moses pleaded for mercy from God on behalf of Israel in the wilderness, David pleaded for mercy from God on behalf of Israel and himself in the book of Psalms. Isaiah, being a blessed and obedient righteous prophet, even he stated in God's presence that his lips were unclean.

Through the law only comes a knowledge of sin, its ultimately God's grace and mercy that saves us from wickedness through his forgiveness. “The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness,"

How is this not Jesus? I just don't understand at all how one can reject him as messiah when he was the embodiment of all these things. Jesus also brought the knowledge of Torah to all nations, mainly gentiles who now worship the God of Jacob. He first came as a lowly servant as Isaiah speaks about, and will come again to fulfill the rest of the prophecies.

When I went to Israel one place my husband and I visited was the site of the Beatitudes. There was a little old Nun that worked in the Church of the Beatitudes. She had spent her entire career in that church teaching people how to praise the Lord. She taught me so much about the Beatitudes. How to bring love to Jesus every day and every time.

I continually find myself falling away from the idea that Jesus is something other than my beautiful friend. He is always in my heart and daily in my life.

Lifelong Jew...I'm no christian, but...Nope, that doesn't wash. Jesus summed up his whole teaching by saying "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect". Rabbi Singer has no standing in claiming that Jesus is saying (like Paul) that people can't be Torah observant or righteous in YHVH's sight when he's telling them that they can.
Jesus is pointing out that the Rabbis tell you to allow your heart to pursue what it desires as long as you restrain your hand (like Rabbi Singer just did), while YHVH demands holiness of thought as well as deed. Jesus references Isaiah when he asks the Rabbis why they teach other Jews to follow traditions taught by men rather than what YHVH instructed...the continual iniquity of the Rabbis - re-inventing and re-writing Torah. So, imo, the Rabbi's analysis just doesn't wash, and Jesus remains a Torah observant Jew encouraging other Jews to rededicate themselves to Torah and striving to be like YHVH.

Jesus, ahead of His time as always, was referring to the multiple universes hypothesis of quantum physics. If you look at someone with lust in your heart, even if you don't act on it, your impulse triggers one (or many) of your alternate versions in another universe to sin. It's those damn multiple universes.

Essentially Jesus said that to covet is a sin, which is a commandment. There could be a motive from the author of that Gospel to portray Jesus in a similar manner to Moses. I don’t know for certain. There is so much beauty and wisdom within that sermon, it speaks to the heart and has lead many people to God. I do know that for certain.

Judaism was a great religion in it's time, nowadays it's just onother religion of the many that lost the true essence of what the messengers of the most high came to teach, all it's left is vestiges of Moses, Jesus, Khrisna, Zoroaster, Fu-Ji, Aura-Mazda, Quetzalcoatl, ect. teachings, the true religion is lost, let's put an example: "Jesus enters Jerusalem on palm Sunday riding a donkey" If we entered Jerusalem in the condition that we are at this moment, we would enter Jerusalem with a donkey riding in our back, (alegoric teachings 100%) just to pinpoint how lost we are when it comes the esoteric teachings of the great masters. PEACE BE WITH ALL HUMANKIND!

going beyond kosher brings one into the realm of the spirit, god seeks those who will worship him in spirit, not kosher, kosher is limited to the carnal man, the carnal mind, the carnal nature, wherein spiritual leads one to christ, to the kingdom of god, to the new miind, the new man, the new nature, kosher is impossible for you to achieve, for kosher cant make perfection, kosher is with no power ro change a person into something else, it cant even change the mortal heart, the soul, the person, wherein spirit is life changing for all who recieve christ jesus, the spirit gives a new birth, changing one into something else other than limited kosher, you greately error of scripture and the power of god, kosher is the law, and we have went way beyond the law unto perfection of spirit, born of the spirit, of which kosher could never accomplish, but the messiah has brought the spiritual realm of god into the hearts of the born again who recieve him, and eternal life, through the spirit, of which kosher. could never do, because its not the kosher, its YOU who cant be kosher.
