5 of the EASIEST Campaign Starts so far... - Immortal Empires Warhammer 3

Very much appreciate a list like this, since I only started not to long ago. Since I'm still learning, I'll definitely check those shorter campaigns out to get a better grasp and understand what I'm doing, what to build and what to do. Atleast I will try, depending if I have them or not, since I only have the base TW:WH 3 and I'm still getting around in the prologue :D

The easiest Warhammer 3 campains you can not play if you only have Warhammer 3. Stronk.

every single time I want to start a Wulfrik camp I get to turn 3-5 and ShadowLegion always declares war. to me it's next to impossible to play,

So much content in one game.

I gotta say it is almost impossible to survive 20 turns with Bretonia couronne in Immortal empires. Ya i get Bretonia sucks in general but still insane difficulty from someone who loves infantry line battles

Ghorst's zombies are all well and good but you end up having to fight every battle manually because they get shit autoresolve odds.

IE actually got easier over ME because of the claustrophobia of Legendary factions in close proximity.

Grimgor is pretty easy. He can invade chaos realm no problem and rush whichever direction before anyone has decent units.
Blessed Dread have a great location in the corner of the map.
Ursus is actually relativelly easy if you just snowball chaos wastes east. AI cant keep up pushing after you.

Enjoy the easy Grimgor start while you can before the chaos dwarves show up in IE

Played Skaven as Ikit to learn the game (played on Normal mode) Took over my first town next to Skavenblight. Then moved towards the second town only to be ambushed by some Beastmen that rolled over my entire army….. only got about 7 turns into the game!! 😂

Question. Can you have a skaven undercity as well as a city on top? I ask as I opted to have an undercity to try it out and then noticed I could attack it again to capture it. My plan was to have w lots of buildings in one city, only the undercity disappeared after I captured the city normally.

The helman gorst campaighn gets rough when the dragon elf boy and grimgor both get to level 25. They can murder your entire army solo.

This is a great video very needed. If Warhammer 3 is your first total war then your experience is gonna be trash.

My bro tried it playing Cathay and Tzeech kept dumbstering his ass lol. Had to talk him into even going back and trying to get a start with Warhammer 2

I finished a campaign with Grimgor, and it was way too easy, I just destroyed everything with stacks and stacks of black orcs, everybody was running away from my armies

Hellman Ghorst and Grom the paunch were 2 of my favorite campaigns in wh2 because buffing zombies and gobbos into actually decent troops that were more than meat shield was a lot of fun

It was 100 times more healing = ) essentially any faction that had that stat and regeneration could last essentiall forever. there was a mod to fix it and they finally officially fixed it now lol That being said ghorst can still provide so much healing cap increase to zombies as well as stats that they are still insanely good.

Arkan the black is unstoppable. I'm able to auto resolve skarbrand and use him like a sack city.

I had very different experiences with Ikit, sartosa declared war on me turn 3, the beast men shortly after. Few turns after those I got clan angrund and orion wanting a piece too, was a bit of a mess

I actually had a harder time with Grimgor. Having to deal with Kholek was a bit of a chore, but then he got support from Archaeon almost immediately. Then when Kholek was dealt with, the lesser Chaos factions decided to deal with me instead of Cathay. So I guess I just got really unlucky.

Those VPN commercials really REALLY oversell the product, but the whole 'it might make it faster' is probably the most blatant lie yet.

I found Sisters of Twilight laughably easy.

If nobody mentioned it yet, i guess you made a little mistake in the explanation of campaign victory, since you have to reach level 3 of victory conditions to realy win the campaign. The first two just give some buffs, no endscreen.

And maybe it's just me, but some achievements seem to be buggy too, since i can't finish them in IE and still got forced to play the chaos campaign....especially the win with XY a campaign. Maybe you could take a look at that and bring a vid or report it at CA too? My Carthay didn't gave me the win achievement in IE....

But after all, a very interesting video about the stronger factions in IE, like it. (And i'm sorry if my writen english is a bit crappy at times....)

The easiest is Karl Franz Empire and Kislev campaign. I highly suggest new players to try out these two, in Normal/Normal... :)

Check out Miao Jing - tested so far around 25 Lords - and with her I had without a doubt the easiest Early - Mid Game so far. Around Turn 40 I had 4 Provinces , Eshin dealt with , Lokir dealt with and the Vampire Cost Offspring. 3 Standing Armies and an income of rouughly 6 - 7K. For strategic reasons - I do NOT confederate the Great Bastion Faction in early Game. Leave the KI to bring those Walls at least to Tier 4 - you need the Money in your Provinces to get them up ASAP. Since Her Missle / Ammunition Buff is for EVERY Army , I highly recomand a lot of Missle Units and a Beefy Front Line in ur Armys. And your good to go. -- For Caravans , well that´s a little tricky so far. I noticed in my Campaigns that Chaos (well there was an AddOn) is deam strong later on, and they like to attack your caravans. Especialy late it´s no fun @ all. To prevent that i started sending my Caravans "South" , in not so Chaos infected regions. Not that much Profit but at least they stopped being getin Bush Wacked by greedy Chaos Bois. --Your First Caravan should travel to Marienburg, it gives Warrant of Trade a follower. Which increases the sale value of cargo, in the local province by 25%, as well as increasing income from trade faction World wide by 20%.
((This was played on Hard Difficulty -- and so far i invested around 8 Hours in her Campaign))

The short campaign victory conditions are perfect! No need to make 'em longer IMO. There's always the medium campaign.

Tbh I'd also really like to see a slightly shorter medium campaign, with the current "medium" renamed "long", and the current "long" renamed "domination" or something like that.

Archeon start is pretty easy now. You can just take the writhing fortress recruit some aspiring warriors and wait for the other factions to weaken each other then steam roll through.

For some reason I keep getting wrecked by legendary lord dogpiles no matter what faction I play. I take my second province and as soon as I do that (sometimes before I do that), every legendary lord with line of sight on me starts declaring war and heading to take me out.

The Southern Realms, the Darklands, Nagashizzar... these might become a good bit harder in the future

I agree with those 5 but we should also mention Festus and Nurgle for the same reasons as Ghorst. Snikch is a beast. I also had an easy time with Skarsnik but I am not sure if I was just lucky.

So is there a way to officially end a campaign with the short campaign victory? By that I mean the games tells you you've won and you get a victory screen, as opposed to just quitting the game.

Bullshit that Clan Skyre is one of the easiest for anything but Short Campaign. Everyone declares war on you within the first couple of turns and makes a beeline for your capital, the beastmen fuck you over if you try expanding west because of chaos corruption.

Honestly, a Grimgor/Kholek showdown would make for an AWESOME bit of lore.

how the fuck are you playing on very hard / hard i feel like IE has made the game so easy i was stuck at very hard / hard on the 2 now i roll on everyhting in legendary / very hard

add Clan Eshin to the list... my god its unbelievable easy, T5 settlement by turn 28, Chingers just get their asses clapped and you can trade with the other big 4 clans which is great because Cathay has shitloads of resources

Whilst it hasn't been a difficult start (3 mentioned factions are all gone), every man and his dog declared war on me as Ikit 🤣

every campaign ive played is easy just dont over extend and its a matter of time.

I have found that on most difficulties (Easy to Hard, at least) the AI is super aggressive.
I've played multiple campaigns now as both Warriors of Chaos and Tomb King, and EVERYONE declares war on me. In my current Settra campaign, I've only expanded by conquering war hungry-factions's cities, and I'm still totally surrounded by even more factions, that have declared war with me. The bigger my kingdom becomes, the bigger the circle, the more factions surround me, the more enemies declare war with me.
It seems almost like a counter-growth-mechanic, at this point. It's just counter entuative if that's the case, because it's also what started my huge expansion, to begin with. It really seems like a bug - Not a feature...

What are the hardest campaigns?

Ghorst has an army that is A) Tough and B) Cheap. Between his own buffs, the generic tech tree, Ghorst STARTS with his regen Corpse Cart AND a Mortis Engine. Blob the zombie mobs within range of the cart and the Engine and follow the research and skill trees and his army won't be unbeatable, but for what it costs to raise (much of it instantly) and maintain, it's very solid. Raise some stronger units from a few battle sites to hit the enemy a killing blow and you're settled. Best part is that many of Ghorst's buffs to Zombies are faction wide so any other generals he has will also have tough zombie forces as well!

Co-op campaign get's stuck at Couronne late game, game doesn't crash, but when you press end turn it stops at Couronne, anyone else had this?

Hmmm... Kolek is getting absolutely slaughtered by Grimgor in my Villich campaign too. He Vassalised the next door norsca faction and then Grimgor came in and krumped him back to his starting terratory. I wonder if that is just a thing now?
