The easiest fix for a Pixel 6 is a BFH.

I think the sun triggered mine to do this. I imagine the light sensor got overexposed and needed resetting, since this isn't the first time this has happened.

Yeah this actually works, not sure if it was the tapping or squishing but yeah it's now turning on properly..not sure how confirm I am in Google phones however if a rub down and tap is enough to fix a black screen. Annoying tho I saw this video after ordering a new phone for my wife

I just tried the first step and it worked. I was shocked. So why do we have this problem on these phones?

i did on Pixel 6 Beta Android to 14+ beta. After i press install, it dont start anymore. After Contact with Google they give me Flash Program and and... but i Only put my Type-C Kable on Computer connected to Phone (Still Black Screen), press On/OFF Button and Volume UP for 20-70 Sec.(Sometimes it need longer). I tryed the Beta Install 7-8 Time and every Time it work on my Pixel 6(not the Andriod Beta Install every time black screen). It will start then "Normal" to the Old Andriod (13+) will show you the Beta Install was Fail.

Step 4 and 5 did it for me!!! Thank you!!!!

so, finally something worked out for me also

So, my phones controls locked was able to do a restart but it wouldn't come back on. method 1 fixed it.
