Described as an independent woman and devoted mother, 43-year-old Susan Osborne thought she’d hit the jackpot in 2017. She was living in Holtville, Alabama, with her son, her two dogs and her husband of three years, Jerry Osborne. By all accounts, she was content in life. But then she went missing, alongside her son, 14-year-old Evan Chartrand, and as investigators dug deeper into the lives of Susan and her family, it soon came to light that all was not as it seemed on the surface.
