OUBEY - Encounter 16 - Prof. Rainer Blatt (English)

Prof. Rainer Blatt, experimental physicist and Scientific Director of the Institiute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information at the University of Innsbruck, was the first scientist to perform successful teleportation of atoms whereby the quantum information of one atom is transferred to another. In this OUBEY Encounter he compares OUBEY's painting with neurons of the brain, cells of an organism or even with his laboratory.
