At 67, I can't remember a single diner that didn't serve real butter. The lousy margarine is served at the wafffle house. Nope.

Never even seen a Denny's or Cracker Barrel, guess because I live in Waffle House world.

Fun fact; Cracker Barrel is the only one of the three that hasn’t gone bankrupt at some point. Denny’s went bankrupt in 1997 after a load of leveraged buyouts and IHOP went bankrupt in the 70’s due to running multiple failing restaurants and again in 2020 due to the pandemic.

The craziest part about these 3 diners being so big is the food is always just so bad 😂

How do Americans have so many words for how to cook eggs?!???? It's truly bewildering.

The way you said that IHOP normalised eating dessert for breakfast for Americans made me crack up. What could possibly be the consequences of that? 😂

I personly do not consider IHOP/Cracker Barrel as a diner, more as a family restraunt and loosely agree that Dennys is......Waffle House is a better choice for a national chain.....but must diners are locally owned mom & pops

I lived 35 years in the US I hardly ever went to diners for breakfastetc. I prefer making my own breakfast and do not like al lthis sugar stuff. US breakfast in general is not healthy anyway. Way too much sugar and always bacon. Diner coffee is horrible, esp as a European.

There's a Denny's in San Jose Costa Rica. After a month in that country, man did that grand slam go down well!

Cracker Barrel's not a diner. Also, any diner serving pre packaged salads will go under in the first year, that pre-packed food from the commercial food suppliers is too expensive.

We lost our local Denny’s, but gained a local diner chain soon after.

From working at Cracker Barrel for years they make everything from scratch you pointed out that all diners use ready to make foods ihop and dennys may Cracker Barrel does not and it’s actually more beneficial to make everything from scratch as the raw ingredients are cheaper to buy individually
