If reply honestly then I will say that such things are not in our hand because human life always decided from somewhere else and we don't know who is the director of our life and where is our remote control and who is controlling us that's why we can't take any personal decision. and othersthing is that if everybody think like that then nobody can get enjoy on this world because we are connected to each others and effect to each others that's why it is our responsibility to make happy others too and another thing is that if everybody start to think only live for himself then This world cannot survive. suppose if our mother takes the decision that she will live only for herself then how family can run? if she doesn't feed children on their time then how can children be happy? If father start to think like that I will earn only for me then what will be the condition of family? we take so many help from others and we can't survive without others then how can we decide that I will live for my self and without others but the problem is that we think selfishly, we just want to live here happy and we expect happiness from others if people don't make us happy then we starts to live without them...

Good message, especially for Indians who get recruited into roles that we are not old enough to comprehend but feel entrapped for life, because our parents, preachers and pundits decree the purpose of your life. You hardly have a say in how you want to spend life or if you have an alternative dream for your life. So you are right, that the majority cog Indians are raised to live for others. It takes an immense will power and courage to follow your heart. But you are right, in asserting and claiming at least some part of your life for yourself. In the old Indian tradition, men walked away from it all in Vanprasthan age ( post working life) women retired and focus on spiritual growth once the kids got married and brought others to takeover the responsibility. Not so now. Elderly parents now have to devote their so called Golden years in raising their grandchildren in service of the dual income family where husband and wife work! So unless one musters courage to say ‘no’ you could be spending your whole life to please others! Good speech!
