Hi Serge, I have 3 questions, please answer them if you have time: 1) Why is there a Track Quality slider at all? When would anyone ever need less than 100% track quality? / 2) Why do you use the Effect on the building example, but the Adjustment Layer title clip on the football field example? When would it be better to use the Adjustment Layer, since you'd always only be tracking ONE clip? / 3) Since you're using the Corner Pin Tracker option (to avoid the light tower that's "in the way" which could mess the tracking up), why do you track forward from the playhead position, and then back from it, instead of just going to the start of the clip and just track forward? THANKS!

Will FCPX Auto-Tracker Perspective 2.1 work on my iMac? It's a late 2012, 27", 3.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, with 32gb of Ram.

Awesome Plugin, I just bought the Tracker Bundle, and your tutorial TOP NOTCH as always. What is the main difference using the effect as adjustment layer or directly into the clip drag and drop if you get the same result?

Great video and really love the Pixel tools, just wish they would hurry up and adapt them for use on Apple M1 Silicon as most of the plugins still don't support it yet :(

Great video, although how do I make my Tracked image or text not appear shakey? I feel like there is a subtle shakiness to my tracked text and it bugs me. like, there shouldn't be any inconsistencys.

Also, how do you adjust the brightness of the object thst you've mapped to the tracker without affecting the rest of the clip?

this is one of the worst purchases of my life. do not get this. Whenever I track, the clip doesn't even stay close to what I told it to track to. Absolutely terrible.

I purchased and downloaded the auto tracker and it did not work as others on this thread have mentioned. I should have read the reviews first. Now I'm concern as I hope this isn't a sham.

This Tutorial is super good. But the product sucks. I have been for almost 3 hours trying to look good. I follow the instructions but 2 situations continue to accur: 1) The text gets all shivery; and 2) cannot detect automatically the surface. I draw the boxes arround a wall but when I press forward, the box comes out of the wall. Money sent to the garbage :((((

Just downloaded this tracker.. what I'm missing from every tutorial is what to do when the tracker mess up and you get a "failed message" saying that the tracker couldn't track a specific frame..

Hey Serge! How do you use FCPX Auto Tracker Perspective when doing a drone shot straight down, placing a dive flag on the rooftop of a dive shop (only the drone does not focus on the roof but on the pool) and the rooftop eventually is completely out of the shot. I’m having difficulty having the 4 corners of perspective stay in place when the roof starts creeping out of the shot. Any remedies? Thank you in advance!

I wanted to use this but it doesn't work as well as you said. I'm a little desapointed.

Can you do that with the surface tracker from PFS?

Hey Serge, since you know a lot about PFS plugins, maybe you can tell me whether this plugin, or the Surface Tracker is better for attaching images to, relativeely, flat surfaces in a video like on sand, grass or even a furry dog's body. Of course when these surfacea are "moving" (well, the furry dog will literally be moving, but the sand and grass will be "moving" - on the screen - as the camera taking the video moves, even though grass & sand won't be moving themselves lol). These 3 surface examples I mention will never be completely "flat" as they will have protuberances and indentations - some "wavy" and others "jagged" (like a stone on the grass or sand).

The reason I'm asking is because it seems like what you're showing in this video should be also able to be done using the Surface Tracker plugin.

I just got Pixel Film's Auto-Tracker and this is by far the best tutorial I've seen regarding. They need to be paying you!!

Im having one problem, if the camera pans away from the footage you are tracking, it doesnt just pan off the tracked area in the correct perspective. Is that possible or is this just for something basic as tracking something that's going to remain 100% in the screen?

When I delete the image to be tracked it disappears! Anyone have an idea where I’m going wrong?

Make sure your final cut is 10.4.7 or above. Also Intel Iris Graphics and Intel Iris Plus Graphics are the same thing. I spent the money thinking "plus" was different, now i'm out $58.58

I can track a square on a wall up to the point where it starts to disappear from view whereas In your video you go past images pasted to walls, how do you do that please?
