Flash, to answer your question, yes, they moved forward with a Blade film based purely on Mahershala wanting to do it. There was no script or anything. Mahershala approached Feige about wanting to do it and Feige said yes. No script, no nothin'. So he, Mahershala, really has no one to blame but himself. And his trust that Marvel would actually produce something good. Which, to be fair to him, they were producing good stuff at the time he approached them. But not anymore. He should get out.

Without Marvel recasting TChalla, the MCU has been dumb or doomed. Nothing makes sense without the black panther. They could not recreate a good captain Marvel movie without turning her into a Thanos villain, breaking her promise to the scrolls. Just to many sacrifices to not pay good actors for not seeing the bigger picture. Their nearly done for now. Hulk can't even save them. Thor will be OK, though.

My biggest issue with this movie is: That's not Captain America...

Everything Disney touches turns to shit. The original Marvel universe featured exciting and beloved characters that looked and acted like in the source material and was respectful to it. There is a reason why these characters have been successful for many years. In recent years, all of that was thrown in the trash so Disney could ram its filth-infested agenda down our throats, which we have told them with our wallets time and time and time again that we absolutely will no squander our money or time to watch. Maybe one day this insanity ends and we can go back to enjoying good stories with interesting, larger-than-life characters.

I actually liked Sam as Falcon, and was even prepared to accept him as the new Captain America: I even liked Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Mainly because Bucky Barnes, who is one of my favourite characters in the MCU got sometimes like a completed arc, and a chance at some happiness. Also the banter beween him and Sam in the show was hilarious.

However, I disliked the political content in the series, which came over as really forced and unnatural. It should not have been about black Captain America - they should have just stuck with the idea that Sam didn't feel he was ready for the role, and the expectations which came with it.

If they're continuing with the same angle for the 4th movie, I can understand why people were put off. The political content about race an the BLM movement added nothing to Falcon and the Winter Soldier at all. I just found Isaiah kind of annoying: like I'm sorry he was captured and experimented on and all- but here's the thing.

Bucky had the same experience: he was captured, tortured, experimented on and subjected to mind control for decades: HYDRA made him a mindless assassin, but he was able to come back from that and didn't hold resentment towards everyone for it. I guess that's because he's a white dude and they're not entitled to resent everyone and everything?

Aside everything else awful - that suit is awful.
