What is Ableton Live?

ableton 12 please:
need vst2 fxp auto-open like vst3 vstpreset from browser, and notify about missing dll in ADG like als. must have. this would help set up your VST database and manage presets.

good manners like reason and fl studio:
post fx record - it would be more convenient than searching in a large list for which channel I want to resample.
pre midi fx - all midi effects midi to piano roll.
burn to piano like fl studio.

when a clip is cropped, the long note that is visible, when trimmed, the start of the note is not cut off at the start of the clip, even when this note is visible, it does not sound, and when cropped it disappears altogether. this is very inconvenient when cutting midi clips

It’s also very annoying that when the plugins are collapsed, all their names are displayed sideways; it makes sense to display the entire bottom bar vertically. like a browser or reason daw

If it weren’t for m4l and convenient modulations with a bunch of amxd, I wouldn’t use this daw.

Dont forget to mention the license price to use Abelton!!!!!!
Otherwise you cant use it

Have you ever seen music theory operate differently than 12 tone equal temperament? Like using actual harmonics with any systematic approach

I can't get on the Ableton Forum and I have an ableton live license. This is pretty ridiculous. Support your products better and improve your user experience.

This the reason why people like Logic because of this two plugin in them pitch corrections and Autotune, so the company should try and update this two plugin in their next update, I think people will leave other DAWs to Ableton live

is proper video support not possible? I wanna send my colleague video files so he can make sound for it but ableton reads NOTHING. Please please add proper video support for multiple codex'... I tried literally everything.. I mean one or two were working but the current implementation is just horrible

Can I setup a MIDI controller (that has keys, launchpad, and knobs) to control guitar effects in Live? For example, to turn ON/OFF the distortion on the guitar?

It looks like it could be a great package, but the seriously ugly UI puts me off trying it.

Feature: If you can add pencil paint option just like Acid Pro (draw wave anywhere in the arrangement), Ableton would become the perfect DAW for me. If this is considered, please thoroughly look into AP and see how it is done. No DAW in the world has this feature so far other than Acid Pro. Thank you.

Hi Ableton. Maybe you should have a version ( cheaper ) that is for us producers who don't need Live performance features. Why must we pay top dollar for max and other stuff? In 2022 many folk are using 2 DAW's or more - content creation & mixing & mastering. I love Logic Pro & Reaper but would gladly grab Live 11 for it's sound design goodies.

Just a small suggestion please incorporate data zoom option.. i mean sometimes it becomes really hard to identify whether there is sound information in Audio clip or not.. specially when i am mixing stems received from clients. Anyhow Ableton is ❤️
