I want to download my SketchUp animation and I did bt the download happens till 15% and then ends up to error..
ОтветитьOne easy tip - don't use that crap.
Ответитьgreat
Ответитьwohhhh super tip! only Justin knows!
Ответитьyou are a king SketchUp
ОтветитьThanks Justin... This really helped...!
ОтветитьI just found your channel. It's been a great learning tool.
I do have a question/suggestion for a tutorial (If it hasn't already been done.. I haven't found it, if it has.) How to turn a profile into a 3 dimensional object.
Say I have profile, like the silhouette of a wine bottle. Cut it in half top-to-bottom. Now, I want to wrap that profile around the vertical axis, and turn it into a 3D bottle. How do I do that?
as always, Justin, I appreciate your ability to simply and clearly articulate complex procedures. It is a rare skill.
ОтветитьNice tip !
Recently I watched a video where someone suggest to move to Blender from Sketchup, and the points he was showing are quite practical. What do you think about this ? Whats the difference between blender and unity ? Please make a video on this topic.
Now I see what you mean about outliner. I didn't realize it updated dynamically. What a difference. I'll start collapsing it when not needed.
ОтветитьI discovered this by accident while working on a super heavy project with tons of complex geometry but thank you for putting it out there :)
Ответитьanother thing is to create an ALL OFF scene where ale the Layers are, well... turned off and then save your files. Makes heavy models save much faster. And also loading them when you're opening the file.
ОтветитьFor this reason, i basically never use outliner.
ОтветитьFascinating! Thanks.
ОтветитьI use the outliner 24/7 and it's my biggest go-to tool in Sketchup for staying organized. I've used it since Day 1 and I had NO idea that's what caused my models to do that "flashing" load time thing. This is an amazing tip for an issue that was frustrating me for the longest time. Thank you so much for this! Now I can do my super in-depth hyper detailed models without so much sluggishness.
ОтветитьThanks, Justin, I never realized that. Another very helpful tip.
ОтветитьI don't use it much, but I see the capability of outliner.
Thank you, have a great weekend !
Please make a video on how to reduce sketchup file size....please..
Best luck...👍
