I’m bulking and get all my protein and carbs, but I’m insanely short on calories. Am I able to eat fat sources for like, thousands of calories, or would too much fat intake be bad?
So I’ve been bulking since February at 170 lbs I look lean but not shredded and I would like to get my abs to show again without losing strength at the gym . Should I cut back on the carbs ?

ОтветитьI’m 5’10 and 195lbs, 20.4% bf, I’m getting 215gm protein, 250gm Carbs, 70gms fat on workout days, every other day. Non workout days I am walking a zone 2 cardio for 4-5 miles. Takes approximately 1 hour. Do I need to adjust anything to help with fat loss and keep building muscle? Thanks for all the info fellas.

ОтветитьIve started my program with a trainer and the macros are set like this- Protein: 105 grams Carbs: 150 grams Fat: 65. I think I have a prejudice against fats and I keep hitting only 30grams of fat per day, should I be pushing fats up to reach the target and then worry about carbs?

ОтветитьI've been wondering this for so long!! I've been on a lean bulk for a couple months but it's hard to me to get my calories in, especially an excess of carbs. For some reason my body seems to like fat more, and makes me feel better and easier for me me digest but how much is too much? I'm 5'4 and 145 pounds, I'm at 17% body fat so I'm rather lean and would like to keep it that way but would just like to add some muscle and size overall. I shoot for about 2400 calories a day, any advice?

ОтветитьFat is more satiating but carbs taste 10000x better and give you more energy and regularity. Both are important
ОтветитьMy diet always ends up being so high in fat. Avocado, nuts, full fat diary and I prefer beef or lamb although I eat chicken, fish and eggs too. I keep thinking I should lower my fat intake but my weight is stable and I eat unprocessed whole food - lots of vegetables and fruits.

ОтветитьEggs, milk and nuts alone gave me enough fat that I felt pretty good.
ОтветитьI honestly have no trouble getting my recommended fat intake just from eating my proteins. I honestly just add carbs and don’t typically eat extra whole fat sources.
