RTX 4070 Ti is INSANE! - Blender 3D Benchmark | Test BMW, Classroom, Barbershop, etc..

Please help, I want PC to 1800$. I checked Ryzen 5 7600x and PALiT GeForce RTX 4070 Ti JetStream, 12GB GDDR6X. Is this good components for blender rendering?

The 4070 ti may be a great performing card in Blender, but it seems to only be about 20% faster than a 4070, while costing 40% more.

If you get two rtx4070s, that's 24gb vram for the price of one rtx 4080 with just 16gb. 🤩 hehehe

Thanks for this. Was kind of weighing the options on saving for a 4080, or just buying one of these and a second one later. I think two of these will just crush as a good render machine for semi pro work.

If it was for gaming I would get arc or AMD ,bad luck my work and hobby involves blender

Hmmm..i'm not a blender user but i guess when you need to render a lot of files/scene the 4070 ti will be better in electricity cost, less power draw, right?

Even though this card is kind of pricey I really want it. (the 4070Ti benchmarks outperform the 3090 when used in Blender...that is an amazing selling point for me.) I have a 3060 and I would love to see how much better this card runs blender.

i m between selling my liver for a 4080 and just half of it for a 4070ti. Seeing this gives me a hope for using 4070ti for renders

I think i would get a 4070ti cause the 3090 its almost the same price, right now i dont need alot of vram, becausei only do characters, in the future probably a video game.

Mine with only GPU is 5.94 secs but with CPU,
it actually slow down to 12-13 secs,
pretty funny when my GPU is way faster than my CPU :D

Did you feel the 12GB of VRAM with the 4070Ti was a problem? Would it be sufficient rendering animations?

Did a test on the Macbook 2019 for the BMW scene and took 9 minutes and 6 seconds to render the scene. The 4070 Ti did it 12,842% faster than the Macbook :'D

I have an "old" i7 2700k with a gtx 960 4GB vram, and I am thinking to buy a recent graphic card. Is too expensive to buy a complete rig for now. Mainly I will use it for Unreal 5 and Blender render cinematics.

Can the 4070 use main RAM as extra VRAM while rendering in Cycles?

My 4070TI has the latest driver installed, but Blender 3.4 cannot use GPU rendering at all. Using GPU software simply stops running. How can I resolve this issue?

Is 12gb vram on 4070 ti problematic? Used rtx 3090 ti is about the same price or even cheaper

These results are unbelievable. I also switched to 4070Ti, but of course I didn't do anything stupid to change to use a blender, but I did a blender benchmark just to test the performance. Rendering doesn't work and blender freezes. I tried reinstalling blender more than 10 times, but it didn't work, so I changed the graphics card to 1080Ti, so rendering was possible. Blender freezes when using 4070Ti.

Though, I find it troubling that you didn't include the Blender rendering settings in your demo.

How many samples did you use for the final renderings? What was the resolution of your render? What light path configuration did you use - diffuse, glossy, transmission, volume, transparent ? These could really help out in determining whether we as Blender artists should invest in 4070 Ti ;)
