I failed an AWS Exam TWICE (Mistakes to avoid for SysOps)

Please suggest any AWS sysOps book which I should buy?

I normally don’t comment on videos but I have seen a couple of your videos while I embark on this journey and I can see the work you put into them. Plus, it’s good content.

I have a doubt as to what happens if you fail any aws exam ...should we pay the whole money again or will we get any attempts to clear the exam ?

just pass SAA-C03 & DVA-C02 recently. Aiming for DevOps next, should I take SysOps before DevOps, thx for any suggestion!

I have my 1st attempt to the AWS Certificate Developer exam tomorrow. I prepared a lot and worked with AWS as a software engineer for a while, but the more test exams I take, the more I'm aware I just can't memorise it all and it depends on what questions I get. It's uplifting to hear your story because people always talk like they pass AWS certs with no issues at 1st attempt.

Cleared the SysOps certification in Feb'23 with 3 weeks of preparation! Exam was easier than Developer associate exam! I got very limited number of multi-answer questions. Very few questions had long text / long answer choices. The 3 labs took close to 60 minutes.

i personally feel the udemy course and practice exams are insufficient , Can you suggest any other sources to prepare

I failed twice as well now.. My free tier expired and I'm not sure how I am going to practice..

I too failed twice with 595 and 625 scores :( I could see people sailing in same boat now.. so I am not the only one then thanks for your tips hope I will pass in next attempt

Took the Sysops exam today. Really really hard. I don´t think it is possible for anyone to prepare the exam in one week. The questions were hard and the labs had some obscure topics. Awaiting for my grade now. Thanks Lucy for the advice!

U took only paid course. no one course u took for free coz we r not able to pay but need to learn and crack the exam. u have any suggetion?

Hello Lucy, How Exam Labs are being evaluated ? Like it contains 2-3 subsections. If we could not able to complete 1 subsection of it then in that case do we get any points or 0 points for that Exam lab?

Hi there, I tried for AWS Solution Architect Associate Exam twice and in the first attempt I got my result as "invalidate" . One of my colleague told that if you have any previous attempts with result as invalidate then we are not eligible to take up further AWS exams. Could you confirm whether it's true? If so, letme know what should I do to become eligible again? Please help me with this. Thankyou!

I'm waiting for my result, there is not pass or fail in the screen for the C02, you have to wait for your result, the message say 5 business days, but the SOA-C02 was a nightmare, it requieres a lot but a lot of hand on experience, most of the questions ask for details like the specific name of an configuration option, sometimes thats is the only difference between an answer and other, if your don't know that little detail, there is no way to know which answer is more possible, i've been working with aws for 2 years and still was not enough, especially the parts related with AWS organization, sometimes you got almost exactly the same 4 answers except for a little detail changed, sometime all the 4 answer are correct, but you have to choose base on cost, or performance, or availability, so be careful reading those details in the questions, it was plenty in multiple choice questions, and the multiple choice are all or nothing, the labs were easy, and i got and issue saving a configuration, i got a insufficient right message in the aws lab account, i had to close and open the browser of the lab to save my changes to the environment.
In my case , i'm not english native, so they give me extra 30 minutes, even when i got 220 minutes to do the exam, i just leave it with 10 minutes, tired, and the worst i will have 5 night without sleep thinking in the grade because as i told you, there is not Pass or fail immediately on the screen as in the aws developer or architect.

Yesterday I took my first AWS exam(Developer associate) and I think I failed it even though I prepared for about 3 month. In such period you were able to pass 3 certification exams. WOW. I feeling such a looser now.
