Ответитьhe could remove the disc brake system and vast amount extra cash , and be 2.5kg illegal ..!
its designed to go up mountains is it not ?
( cables wont save you much aero here )
Now imagine if it didn't have those heavy ass disc brakes
ОтветитьWhat an amazing build! Not just great looking and very light, but quite functional as well. Must be a joy to ride on.
ОтветитьIs there a functionality aspect to using a mountain bike chain?
ОтветитьSorry buddy but that fork is just ugly...
ОтветитьWear a sun hat, its cute
Ответитьso much talk and no run ?
Ответитьcarbon bottle cages are usually heavier then cheap plastic ones XXDD
ОтветитьOleg? Oleg doch meine Eier.(:
ОтветитьI've only ever had one road bike, my 2013 Liv Avail. I got it back in 2020 maybe. Weighs 11kg but serves me well.
ОтветитьCould be even tlighter with rim brakes and old mechanical 10 speed sram red
ОтветитьOff course you need to be a junkie weight to ride it...
ОтветитьEven with the explanation I don’t get how that back brake runs without affecting steering, it’s a wild build
Ответитьwith rim brakes it would have been even lighter.
ОтветитьNot even close. Fair Wheels bicycles built a 6.8 POUND functional road bicycle several years back. Cost: 30K USD. It was ridden on the world famous Shootout route. The bicycle was disassembled and parts were sold to customers as no one could come up with money to match the selling price.
ОтветитьWhat's the ballpark on one of these?
ОтветитьIf bikes are primarily for fitness, why the emphasis on performance with lighter models? Why not turn to small electric vehicles for efficient transportation instead? Curious to hear everyone's take on this! 🤔🚴♂⚡🛴
ОтветитьAll that work and then massive tube valves! I love it though, awesome bike.
Ответитьlmao UCI ILLEGAL 💀
ОтветитьHow to not be a part of a lifetime warranty with an ugly paint job
Ответить.. in the true spirit of weight weenies, this is a win. Best touch is that UCI sticker! Love it, but the bike would lighter without it… LOL.
Ответитьvalve stems are crazy long...
Ответитьsuper shit and top price for b_shit
ОтветитьDamn 5,4 so heavy ;e
ОтветитьWow, saddle made in Moscow. Cool:)
Ответить6.53kg - Chas Roberts DOGSBOLLOX hardtail MTB with mainly XTR parts
Ответить"uci illegal" sticker pretty cool
ОтветитьSome one have done a Sub 4kg road bicycle ... it could be epic to review it. A diference is in the transmission, the other has much lighter group set, easy 400gr less, the casette could save many grams with a aluminium soul kozak (no more into production) but last nothing. The RD was a carbon custom modified and was amazing etc etc 😵 And tre was a MTB in 5kg with suspension fork etc. So the weight weenie world is amazing.
ОтветитьUCI illegal is brilliant!!!!! I won’t lol
Ответитьthis has to be the pinnacle of bike engineering to date (2023) but I shudder to think how this could be improved... Will we (humans?) discover a ligher alloy or bettter construction techniques in the near future?? Imagine this frame competing in the TFD 1903... Holy mother of....?
Ответитьyall literally did a video on a bike that's lighter. it was a super six and I it was 4.28 or something
Ответитьchanging the pedal with crankbrother could potencially decrease the weigh even more
ОтветитьYou will even save wallet weight! You never had such light wallet after this bike.
ОтветитьMy mountain unicycle is heavier than this bike.
ОтветитьThe weight of this bike is NUTS!! However can a bike not be TOO light?! What happens when there's a little wind? I would also imagine it doesn't roll as good when coasting? Seems like you would need to pedal a lot more to keep speed.
Ответитьi know someone have a 4.9 kg dogmaf
ОтветитьRemove the brakes and the seatpost makes it lighter 💯💯💯
ОтветитьYeah, it probably handles like a feather-I run 853 Reynolds Lomond, if it feels good do it
ОтветитьThere's a bike in the Philippines that only weighs 4kg
ОтветитьGo to Tucson, AZ. Fairwheel bicycles has a 2.7kg bike
ОтветитьNow build the heaviest roadbike ever😅
ОтветитьIts Aethos (Ethos) Ollie, look it up in your Encyclopaydia
ОтветитьEverything is cool, except that Oleg is a rusak
Ответитьtheres a morec lighter bike than this. 4kilos.
Ответить
