I don’t think you should buy the Samson sr850s.
I had seen the video and decided to buy myself a pair. I took care of them like they were my baby. Never let them fall, always kept them in the box they came in and never had any force put onto them.
Even after all this, the cable had an internal break where it connects to the headphones.

much better option: sell all the budget headphones and buy a susvara or utopia.

I just bought the Superlux HD681B & watching the video with them. I am quite amazed how good the sample jazz music sound compared to the phone & TV speakers. The screw on 6.3mm adaptor is a brilliant idea.

after almost 4 years of getting thrown in my backpack, daily driving at my desk, and using in the recording studio, my Samson SR 850's finally crapped out. Time to buy another pair :)

I bought the SR850s. I was skeptical because my non-HP HyperX Cloud Flights were "good enough". Mate, I was fucking WRONG. Whatever idea I had about soundstage and high-end detail was wrong. Right now I'm listening to songs I've known for decades, and noticing details that I never knew were there.
"Akapulkó" by Tankcsapda, for example. Little ambient details, like ice cubes clinking in a glass. The way the two vocals move about. Breaths and "hmm"s. It's nuts.
I'm really hoping this isn't the start of a hobby because I've seen the prices... Fiio is not fucking around.
Anyway, Siree-eight-fiddies are awesome, especially for the price, the only thing that worries me is the inevitable head sweat and grease.

Bro my middle school band teacher had those 600 ohms headphones, like I remember seeing them on his like setup on the one cornor of his room and he had them on this tall stand just so people would see them

just got my first pair of big boy headphones, my very own hd six hungos, they are quite nice, i did get a cheap amp tho so they could prob sound better, but they still sound really good, even better than straight outta my pc, so i could have done worse lol

Even though I am listening through a cheap pair of earbuds but I still can tell the difference between those headphones I do think the more expensive headphones do sound better than the cheap headphones but to me it almost seems like for an average Joe person or for kids I do think most of us do use cheap headphones or earbuds but also with the skull candy cruiser headphones they are good sounding to

Koss KPH 30i is the starter and endgame. Everything else is filler.

why do the 600s look wireless

I've tried the Samsons and they're a little too sibilant/piercing for me, but they're alright.

Those "Stadium" headphones, idk if it's the same brand, but there's also an instrument company called "Stadium" but unlike those headphone, the instruments are actually cromulent. I've got a Telecaster copy and a P Bass copy from them, and they're actually pretty stinkin' good.

Only gripe with the SR850s is that they squish my massive ears after about thirty minutes. I even got thicker ear cups for them. But I guess that's kinda my fault for being born this way.
