My biggest problem with FSD is that I have to take over constantly because of the group-established speed of traffic (often being much greater than the sign-indicated 40mph, and I hold drivers up as they pass me and give me the stare - EVEN when I have the setting for overage maxed out. So unless this update improves upon this, I can't see myself keeping my Highland FSD subscription. It's novelty until it will flow with traffic patterns in Denver at reasonable pace, which it won't do as of today. One other problem is that I live in a neighborhood community with about ~150 homes and whenever it drives me home and enters my neighborhood, it drives with the right tires in the rain gutter all through my community. Will try again with 13.2. But I won't throw it completely under the bus: There is a pothole on a road I often travel (which is basically an over-recessed manhole cover which is 2-3" deep and jarring) in the road where you wheel would hit if you drove normally. It must be crowd learning because the FSD system gently veers about 2 feet right inside the lane and misses it every time. It must be pattern learning from other Tesla drivers that have taken the route thousands of times. Fascinating! Thanks for the video.

On a long drive how would you stay awake if you had nothing to do, it bad enough in Australia with just lane tracking and cruise controls, does it have something to warn you if you are falling asleep?

We really need voice input to just tell it "let me off at the front door and go park" or "park in the back lot and I'll walk", etc etc etc

It might also be nice to input gestures from the passengers, so if they point where they want dropped off, it knows to wait for egress, and then also go park somewhere.

Ah!!! I see FSD actually backs up now. That is cool.
With the little driving I do around my town and being Retired, I still do not need FSD for my driving needs. I will save my money for other things for now.
For me to get FSD, If I should become somewhat disabled to drive myself adequately, or they give us FSD for free for everyone, I do not need this feature.
Yes, I did try the 30 day free FSD trial period, it was interesting to use, but there were things I did not like when car was driving itself.

If FSD senses kids or the chaotic movement of smaller people then it should reduce speed.

I wonder if you guys are republicans or democrats? and if that choice has any impact on what kinda car you drive? Personally, just political, I'd never buy a tesla, rather get a BYD.... And yeah, BYD has self driving and china is way worse about rules and driver unpredictability than the USA.

Just because everybody is driving a certain speed doesn't mean the speed limit sign is wrong. It means everybody is speeding if the road sign is correct.

In Australia out of a population of 26.638 million There were 1,266 Fatalities, that is 1 in every 21,041 or 0.00005%
n 2022 USA out of a population of 334.914 Million There were 42,797 Fatalities, that is 1 in every 78,25.6 people or 0.00013%
we don't have 4 way stop signs only roundabouts. Stop and give way signs are relegated to miner roads that are entering a main road.
The only time we can turn left (your right) at a stop light, is if there is a dedicated turn lane. We have red light cameras that automatically fine us if you ignore a red light.
The road rules are strictly policed, and are pretty standard across the 6 states and 2 territories.
Good news:
We are not perfect! We still have people run red lights and kill and/or die, and still have people fall asleep and kill and/or die.
Note: states and territories make 10s of millions of dollars in fines every year, but if you don’t want to support the government then drive safe.
When FSD takes over I wont care about going slow or stopping for an orange light. I will be reading a book or watching a movie on the way to visit my kids 2 hours away.

I wouldn’t do FSD reviews with anyone else in the car. There will be emotions running high if something goes wrong and it’s just good risky mitigation for insurance claims 😂
