800hp Ferrari 812 Superfast review. 1000-mile road trip to S.France but is it a true GT?

As an Aventador S owner, this was a great video. I prefer the road trip and travel vlogs rather than pure road testing of cars. I’ll refer back to this when my wife and I plan our next road trip.

£350k for any car is getting absurd do you not think? Ferrari Lamborghini Maserati Maclaren all are just expensive because they can be NOT because they have to be. In my opinion. If you look at the tech in a high end Jag or Audi BMW Porsche or Volvo it`s up there with all the supercars but not for the crazy prices. Ferrari cars have always been my automotive passion but £350k... Really?

Brilliant video. Well edited. Harry must have made some converts out of Lamborghini lovers. The only thing that you can possibly stow on a trip and a Lamborghini is a tiny little bag, there's not much room. This car, is almost on par, for luggage storage, with a BMW 4 series in the coupe with the hatch. Simply brilliant. Some people bad mouth Ferrari and I don't know what to believe and what not to? I hear the dealers are an issue but I again, don't know what people are making up and what is reality. Great presentation, again. I would like to know more about Harry's experience with the Ferrari dealers in England.

Car looks lovely and great fun, but like you say given the price charging an extra £1000 for a seat lifter and then only fitting one is a bit ridiculous. I suppose if you can afford and 812 the money probbaly doesn't matter but even so it would be annoying just to have one! Kudos to Harry's wife for putting up with the cushions and everything else! Loved this video!

Bamford owns the DVLA, apparently, and Italian women carry their own cushions. Wonder if Bamford uses a front registration plate...

In July 22 the barrier was up at the summit of Mont Ventoux and it was possible to drive up and over the top. You takes your chances i suppose, but worth it as its a fabulous road.

If I could ever afford it, your review would be discouraging me. Low gearing and Grand Touring are mutually exclusive. Then there are the 2-5,000 euro trim pieces which lead me to the conclusion this is a ‘sucker’ Ferrari, created for those with countless dollars but no sense.

The issue with the passenger seat mechanism can be solved easy.
Ask them to fit a mechanism from a left handed car, that would have the lift mechanism on it.
