Crimes Against Woodworking (Making 7" Surface Plate and 12" Straight Edge Patterns)

Not a bad first try at pattern making. If I was you, I would try sand casting those in Aluminum at home before sending it off to your friend. That way you can proof your pattern and see if there are any spots that needs attention.
