Which throat malady is less treatable Strep or Cancer?

I was recently googling, strep throat and throat cancer but it won't narrow down to my question that is: Is Strep Throat more life threating than Throat Cancer? Look I know they are both life threatening but I guess the question that I must ask is: which is the less treatable of the two maladies? It is sort of funny that I have heard of Strep before but never of throat cancer until after learning a bit about an opera composer from the late 1800s/early 1900s on this same moment of the day did I find out about a that type of cancer that I have never heard about before . I only ask now because I was watching an episode of "Young Indiana Jones" which featured that same Opera Composer today too. I know it seems like a lot to put into for something about throat cancer for something about Strep Throat, but it is a bit of a habit of mine to get in a last word; I understand they are two different things but I find them almost similar in another way too. (I didn't mean "Funny" like funny as a laugh, I meant {Funny} as in: Odd).

But my tonsils were removed when I was a child ...so how could I have had strep ?

The only doctor that said if you are coughing you do not have streptococcus no one else mentioned that. This helped me so much. Thanks Doc.

I had myocarditis from letting my strep throat go too long

I'm 4 days in and the pain is so unbearable😔 im taking the highest strength cocodamol and its not doing anything, feels like I'm swallowing shards of glass😭 my necks so swollen my back, shoulder and neck are stiff! So glad I did some research and managed to get a doctors appointment for tomorrow because I bet this is what I have! I was literally just going to wait it out and hope it got better🙄

what about runny nose? is it associated with strep?

I wanna know cause it hurts when I swallow I went to a hospital a nd they said I have fever and it is effecting how I eat like yesterday I did not eat breakfast nor lunch alittle diner and I have trouble sleeping and really why I don't upload that much tysm for these videos👍👌

Is there a way of telling if it's a bacterial or viral infection? Not sure if I should go to the doctor or stay home, because they still recommend to isolate with flu-like symptoms. No cough thus far. Rapid test is negative.

my throat is literally drying right now. i feel like every couple hours it gets worse and worse and i can’t tell if it’s a common cold/sore throat or strep throat 😢🤧

I swear I never get a cold or the flu but when I do get sick it has to be the freaking strep throat. It makes u want to burn your throat from the inside.

I tested positive for strep and have a bad cough

Yeah I’m here because I also have strep throat and whenever I try to enjoy my food it’s always a pain In the butt to feel some type of pain every single time I swallow.

It doesn't hurt that much and the inside of my mouth looks pretty normal, it's just like a ting of pain when I swallow or talk so what's my next move?
It would be best if I knew what it was before I do anything but I'm leaning towards it being a sore throat

Just letting every child out there know that if you have strep throat beware. You can get something called PANDAS. This can come in lots of different forms but if you start to show any signs of anger or distress in random situations when u normally wouldn’t. This could be a sign you have PANDAS. Now if you are showing these signs and have had strep in the past week of showing your first signs I would advise telling a trusted adult ( preferably a guardian) let them know about this disorder and ask them to do some research and monitor you. If your symptoms get worse you may need to talk to a doctor. I have had PANDAS before and I can tell you it’s not a fun time. We didn’t relise I had it until it was very bad. I ended up resorting to attempting to commit suicide. Now I had a very severe case but that’s because it was left unattended. I now never want anyone else to go through that so if your showing any symptoms, acting differently or just curious look up “ What is PANDAS the disorder?” and it will be explained in more detail.
