What if your AMH is wrong?

Thought I would give people some hope by sharing my story. I’m 28, my amh was 0.22 when I tested it, fsh 14, I have endo that I had a surgery for to remove a chocolate cyst. And we conceived naturally in 4 months! :) low definitely does not mean no ladies, she’s right! and it also doesn’t mean ivf!

I have pocos and my amh is 3,79 ng/ml is normal why? My age is 25 years.

I am 25 years old, my antimüllerian hormone is 3.79 ng/ml and I have polycystic fsh 5.52 lh 8.91 can it be normal or not while there are polycystic? Do I have rheumatic syndrome or not?

I was told mine is.003. Amh i think anyone have this low. I am 51 and want a baby with the love of my life. I am going through menopause. I juat want to cry!! I guess it really is up to God at this point.

Does AMH value comes low if someone was on HRT ?

So this is an older thread but I'm going to take a chance. I'm 42. Amh 0.5, fsh 12, but my vitamin D is low. I had eight follicles on the ultrasound and I feel great, I'm in great physical shape. My question is: if I wanted to maximize my chances of successful embryonic freezing what would be the single best method? In other words, if I'm putting all of my eggs in one basket no pun intended what procedure would be the best option. I don't want to have to do multiple rounds of IVF. Quite frankly, I think that would be emotionally draining and it's very expensive. My instinct is to try to go about this is naturally as possible whether that be natural IVF or mini IVF. I do not think my body would appreciate being overly stimulated. I know I'm 42 and if anyone is reading this please do not wait to freeze your eggs. I've spent my entire life dedicated to my education and career and I'm very successful, but I have run up against the clock and it is a terrifying feeling. Anyway, doctor let me know your thoughts! This was beyond refreshing! I am 44 and wanting to grow my family again and my gyn swears that at .55 AMH i will not get pregnant on my own even though my FSH was 7 and estrogen numbers were even still good. Im reversing my tubal ligation and leaving it in Gods hands, personally i dont think I will have any problems. But im ready for whatever outcome.

Dr, i am 42 ans my amh dropped 1 hole point on 6 months, from 1,72 at 41 to 0,71. This is very fast.. can stress do that?

Hello doctor, Iam 33 yrs old. [ Height 5" & weight 61 kg.] I have 0.212 level of AMH & 296.2 prolactin. The doctor said i have no eggs left in ovary. Can I produce eggs if I increase the level of AMH ? Please I need your suggestion.

Hi Dr.Aimee I’m so nervous. I had a chemical pregnancy May 2021, blighted ovum Nov 2021 and another chemical may 2022. I saw a RE and did blood work. My amh is 0.194, prolactin 39.3, progesterone 0.7, vit D 34, Aptt 30.3, DHEA 127, fish 5.6, estradiol 54.5. Tsh 2.670,, 17OH progesterone11. All these test were done the day before my period started. I just turned 35 in June. What can I do? Only thing I know is my right tube is scared up from a c section.

Doc mine amh level is 2.84, fsh 6, lh 5, tsh 2.65, prolactin 47 but mine estrogen is low....how is it possible? Please reply

Thanks. I had high AMH 2 years ago at 35 years old 4.4 ng/l and my doctor mentioned PCOS. Today at 37, I have been tested at 1.1 ng/l but bloodwork was done 2 weeks after I got a depot lupron 1 month shot....Can the depot lupron explain this AMH decrease ? Thanks

My checked Amh showed very low 0.07 ng/ml
But FSh 9.2 miu/ml
LH 6.6 miu/ml
What u suggest ? Repeating Amh? Any other tests?

Hi there, i am 25 years old I got my AMH levels tested and it came back as a 38.2 pmol/I in UK units. Is this high for my age would this indicate PCOS or anything concerning? I also have endometriosis.

What's the optimal level of vitamin d you'd advise for fertility? I will be 36 next month and my amh is 6.37ng. I'm quite sure at my age and this level I have pcos. However I have low androgens with it. my free testosterone is 11.6ng and serum is 2.6pg and i don't seem to have insulin resistance either. My e2 is only 14.06ng and lh is 5.7miu, tsh 1.68 on cd 3. Why estrogen be so low? Does that play into why it takes me so long to ovulate? I have to get more labs done but my ob wanted me to go to a RE at this point..however getting fsh, and prolactin done before my RE appt. in November. .Been trying for 2 yrs now for third baby. I have a hx of long cycles with ovulation anywhere from cd 21-28 and typically a 13-14 day luteal phase after that a 5-6 day heavy period. I've had a couple of chemicals in that time and 2 PUL that apparently reabsorbed with no assistance needed. The only difference between my pregancy of unknown location experiences and my chemicals were that I was getting a positive test immediately after my heavy period of 5 days and it took a couple of months for low levels of Hcg to go down, US always showed nothing in tube or uterus.

Hello, I have been struggling with very painful periods since 14 yrs old. My first period was at 11 yrs old. Doctors put me on oral contraceptives since 16yrs old. I stopped at around 27yrs old, then I got a huge cyst and it exploded inside left ovary. I was started on oral contraceptives again to diminish ovarian cysts. Was on them from 31yrs old to 33 yrs old. I got off them to try for a baby at 33 yrs old. I am now 34 yrs old and no baby after 1 yr of trying. They did my hormone levels and my FSH is 9.48 and ny AMH is 0.436…which is very discouraging. I am very depressed about that. To make matters worse…I have a couple of cysts in both ovaries but one is a very large one and I am due for laparoscopy in a few days. But I read some medical papers that state that cyst removal in ovaries que decrease my amh even further. What is your opinion on this matter. The laparoscopy will also be used to exclude endometriosis due to my history and high CA 125 levels of 61.

But recently I had a sonohysterogram and they found only one follicle on right side and 3 on left. Does that mean my AMH is wrong?

Thank you for this video. We are 1 year into TTC baby 2. I am about to turn 35 and my AMH is .19. We saw about 6 or so eggs in my follicle scan this week. I am 18m PP and weaned a few weeks ago but have had normal cycles for the last 12 months. I have continued my prenatal, cq10, vitamin d, methylfolate, reversatrol, fish oil, folic acid and iron. I am a walking supplement! Anyway, my OBGYN is going to try 2 rounds of clomid and an IUI. Then I am being referred to an REI. Fingers crossed for another healthy pregnancy. You've reminded me that down does not mean out! If by chance you read this, I would be curious if you might have any idea what my chances my be...percentage wise. Thank you again!

Medicated/Monitored IUI is in August. Labs are all normal apparently, but why am I 30 almost 32 years of age and have a AMH at 8.44? Should I be concerned at all? I’ve never been diagnosed with anything, so doctors don’t seem concerned. Should I be?

I am a little confused about what AMH actually "measures". When you say it predicts how late or early someone will go into menopause that sounds like it says something about the total number of eggs left. Somewhere else I read that that is actually not the case but that AMH only says something about the number of follicles of that specific cycle. Which of this is really true?
