I don't believe this to be the final comic because of many plot holes, for example, scout was suppose to die in december 7th 1987 and medic has 50 more years under his belt, not only that but the cosmic abrham lincon being behind the gravel wars can not be possible because the graval wars started because of redmen and blutarch, so yeah that 4 channer most likely created it for internet points.

Someone needs to just write the ending at this point. And if valve tries to take it down, that means its canon

I think the ending where it shows cavemen fighting wearing red and blue is what most people expected, some "history repeats itselft" thing.

The reason the final comic won't come out is that if it finishes tf2 and new shit has to stop aka valve will have to do shit to put the pace to the near end of the comic in game and then what. It's literally the end meaning no long term profit. Cliff hangers sell
