Game-changing New Tools for FCP Editors

Great tutorial, Jenn! I really like mTracker 3D, mRoto AI and mTracker Surface, but I believe it's subscription thing. Is there anything similar that is a one time buy, that you can keep permanently? Even if it's not quite as good as MotionVFX? Thank you!

I invested into da Vinci resolve. I’m still learning how to use it, but it has all these features & more for a one time payment with future updates, and no signs of making it subscription based … we in a recession, Nobody wants to pay monthly for tools that are free if you’re looking in the right places

How are they not seeing the community does not like or agree with the subscription model or if they going to do it it should be cheaper than pay quarterly or annual 20 a month seems fair

The whole point i am using FCP is for convenience and avoid adobe's subscription model, i don't want to use any parellel flow, sub is a killer, one time payment like other plugin in way to go....

Subscription is a kick in the teeth & all you influencers are losing respect by enabling this cash grab.
The main reason people use FCP is because they don't like subscriptions and Motion VFX is trying to lock users into a yearly subscription that costs more than FCP.

That was a good overview of the tools! I like the interface. The one part you glossed over was the subscription and pricing. Pricing should always be a factor in new tools like this, right? Neither in the intro nor the final review section (I don't think unless I missed it) did I see a mention of pricing or the fact that it's a subscription model, which is a significant departure for MotionVFX. Why did you not include that info in your video? They sent it to you early for testing, but pricing seems important in this case, don't you think?.

The roto is amazing but it sucks that you have to pay for other fx that I don't need. There should be an option for paying for just to roto plugin for people like myself that don't need the extras.

Nice, but only for professional users. I think a subscription is not worth (nor affordable) it for any hobby editor....

We prefer to have them as native features. I believe Apple management decided to outsource new features to the third parties. Bye Bye FCP. Welcome Da Vinci.

I might go for subscription if it was under $20. Most of these tools are applicable once in a while.

I would buy tmTracker surface and mRotoAi instantly if it was'nt on subscription plan only, i already purchased all the plugins from Cine studio... i have over 30 Motionvfx plugins a lot of people are in my situation and they dont appreciate what is going on. here...
BTW i already have Pixel Film Studio's surface tracker for FCPX which is essentially the same as mTracker surface and i purchased it 3 years ago for 49 bucks

MotionVFX's mRotoAI is better than FxFactory's Keyper which can only be used to mask people. Also, KeyPer's performance is less than perfect even under optimum conditions.

Great coverage of these, and great video as always but then learned they were subscription….Ugg…I’m literally subscription exhausted

Yeah, it's a hard pass from me - after paying them thousands over the years and they were hyping up the release of new plugins only to find out that it's subscription. Felling pretty betrayed.

Great video!!! This looks fantastic but unfortunately, the subscription puts this beyond my wallet as I simply cannot afford yet another one. Nonetheless, am grateful to companies such as Motion VFX however that continue to build for FCP on Mac desktop.

PS. One of the things I watch for at Pixel Film Studios (PFS) every day is their 'deal of the day'. Really good value and one time purchase. PFS are also trying the subscription model too but, as with MotionVFX, I won't be subscribing. Nothing turns me off to products more quickly than subscriptions! In Scotland we're known for short arms and deep pockets! Value for money IOW.

I want to buy mRoto, but there is only a cine studio abo. I already own the m3dtracker package. That is not very kind.

Hey Jenn! Great tutorial! In regard to Roto, you can drop the brush down to manual brush and you are able to make the brush size as small or as big as you want.
