I'd always thought based on all the things you hear or are told, that you "eat right and exercise to lose weight", but that's not really true in the sense you have to exercise to lose weight. You "eat right" whether that's keto or whatever to lose weight. You exercise to improve stamina, strength and mobility. They work well together, but are also separate things. I never realized this until recently.

I was once told that I didn't need to do "push ups", I needed to do "push aways". Push away from the table, the counter, push away the remainder on my plate if I was full, etc. That has helped me. :-)

I make jewelry and draw. Also have made porceline crafts and other crafts but have started to make jewelry to sell put on etsy and hoping to make something of it.

Ah! You are young enough. Once you hit mid 50’s- it takes sooooo much more work to get weight off. Balance, some strengthening of core is important for older age. Gentle exercise and enough to do on the regular is important.

You are doing great! Yes. All the natural lazy gene carriers like us need to do +++ after certain age. I’m speaking from 29+ yrs of keeping off >130lbs but gained 49-50 back after life altering illness. So, keep in mind where you are in station of life.

Food addiction is the biggest problem. It’s a learned behavior that my sister and I learned from our mom. She was a compulsive eater and food was always a reward or comfort. It’s always been a comfort for me in challenging situations.

It’s really hard to motivate myself to exercise when I don’t feel good or I’m in pain. I’m looking forward to exercising more but right now low carb and intermittent fasting is what I’m going to master and move on. Swimming is my favorite activity. I lose weight faster when I swim every other day. 😊

Sadly, I haven’t used my laugh muscles in a awhile, but while watching your exercise clips I almost fell out of my chair. You guys are hilarious!

Another great video. Exercise for me is a form of punishment. I’ve never enjoyed it to the point I would continue it for any length of time. And it HURTS! I don’t find that motivating at all! Once it kicks in, keto is the easiest way to lose weight AND reap all the other health benefits as well. THEN, if you feel like walking the dog, it’s for fun and fresh air.

I know I’m a little late here but I’m so glad I found your channel. You both are fantastic ❤I find doing cardio made me more hungry and threw me right off of Keto (everyone is different just my experience) and not a single pound was lost. I’m back on Keto now and while I do somewhat enjoy going to the gym I’m just gonna focus on getting serious with what I put in my body and eventually I will start up some strength training. It’s so much easier and can be done throughout the day. Thank you both so much for this wonderful content.

It makes me really sad that our society feels like exercise has to be on a treadmill or bike until you pass out. The most important thing is getting your body moving and being more active and enjoying life.

Susan Powter was instrumental in me enjoying movement. She reframed exercise in a way that reached me. I still do her workouts almost 30 years later. She’s also the one who opened my eyes to the benefits of a whole foods diet. I do high fat low carb now but even my low fat high carb diet was so much healthier than the S.A.D.

I agree 100% with you girls. I had weight loss surgery 4 years ago and I couldn’t even walk around Hershey Park without taking breaks. I still have some more weight to lose and keto definitely is helping me. I have more energy nut definitely not much of an exercise person😊

I absolutely hate exercising 🤣 I use cleaning and playing with my kids as exercise. But planned exercise is not my thing. I do want to start doing yoga with my kids though

I've got an exercise tape/dvd that I love. It's super fun. I just get tired. I've been really sick and haven't had much energy. It's heartening to know that you can lose weight without doing exercise. You guys are refreshingly honest and candid and funny and I just want to thank you. Sending hugs from Australia. ❤💕

When I was young, I thought that anything less than an hour working out wasn’t worth doing. Now I exercise 20 to 30 minutes doing something I enjoy. A healthy body wants to move. Gardening is hard work, so is housework, it all counts.

I find weighted hula hoop is fun thing to do and finally can keep it going now and doing look at it as exercise

Hi Ladies believe it or not all you have to do is take a 20 min enjoyable walk everyday and that is excecise. Just have fun being active ie...gardening, shopping. Even cleaning your house. Natural things that you do i Whatever you do have fun with it.😀

I didn't exercise on this journey until I lost almost 50 lbs. I was very out of shape after having 2 surgeries this year. I started at 330 lbs and it got a whole lot easier once I weighed less.
Now I am walking every day between 1 1/2 - 2 hours a day and this combined with strict keto and IF, I lose an average of 3 lbs/week. It feels good!

I have no desire to exercise.
I am drinking more water and go to the bathroom so much so I have started doing squats , 30 second wall sit or wall push-ups while I am in the bathroom. I say , something is better than nothing. :)

Exercise is good for your cardiovascular system, and will help tone up your muscles, but its absolutely not necessary to exercise to lose weight on Keto.

I exercise to stay strong and keep and build muscle. I do life exercises like running, squats, pushups, lunges, things that will hopefully keep me from being a frail bed ridden old spinster when the time comes. Ive been going to the gym for almost 10 yrs. Im a stay at home mom ( i did recently start PT just because but I work maybe 4-8 hours a week) this is my thing to get me out of the house and to focus on goals and how good it makes me feel. Trust me when i say no one is looking at you ( everyone was a beginner when they started we all know that struggle. Im always so nice to new ppl and applaud them because its not easy🤷. You gotta go for you, push it make the most of your time and kill it because judgment is everywhere but when u love yourself ot wont matter what anyone else thinks.

Maybe try weight lifting? I"ve always hated exercising, but for some reason weight lifting makes me feel so good. It changes your body shape!
I still don't do cardio...

You are 100% right!!! You can not exercise away a bad diet. I have been exercising regularly (4x a week) for the last 10 yrs doing Spartan races & CrossFit like workouts but it was only this year with diligent focus on my eating that I have been able to lose 30lbs. I still exercise like before and I have gained so much in the gym just from losing the weight 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻😋

Im so glad to see this! Im still recovering from leg injuries 2 years after a wreck. Im way overweight and I know its hampering my healing or at the very least making it more painful to walk hence my starting the keto lifestyle. Exercise however is not something I am able to do at this point so just another way to make me feel defeated before I begin, that is before seeing this! Im tickled and more motivated than ever to get started on keto and hope to be more capable of exercise as I lose and try to walk more. Ive only done keto for a week and today I went to the store without using an electric cart! 1st time in 2 years since my wreck that I walked in and out w/o the cart! I only went for a couple things-no way I could do serious shopping but it was so exciting! I grinned all the way home! Thanks for the uplifting videos! Y'all crack me up but make me feel this is so doable! Thanks ladies!
