FLAGS (with blender)

Great tutorial - Thank you. So the issue I have is when you add any other geometry to this - because of the UV Map method it seems to apply the flag texture to ALL objects in the scene - including the flagpole - how do you get it to only apply to the flag itself? I'm guessing it's something to do with the Alpha Number in the Map uv node?

All the top 3D software should have more presets. There is no reason in the world why something like a flag needs 30 steps. Presets.

I love this is fast and all but i am new to Blender and i don't understand a thing i deleted the cube as you told but i didn't found the "mesh" and couldn't continue sadly...

put down the crack pipe before making videos. you go too fast for your own good and skip details.

Does this UV texture method work if the flag is not the only thing in the scene?

you could also just add an image texture in the shading tab and you got the same result unless there is something different

The problem now is that you cannot add anything in the render , it's only the flag, if I add anything like another plane, it will have the image I composited to the flag. How can I fix this, I've really tried. I can't even render with the hdri world.

What can be done to achieve this and make the image be only on the flag?
