Watching on my 3rd hand poco M2 pro worth 6000₹

Ok I'm still using this phone and it's the best lower-midrange phone. Idk who is the editor and how you guys makes the video without going into the depth. I have used Mi and Poco phones. Poco launcher is smooth and while setting up any Poco phone it shows options to block ads. Which we don't get in Mi phones. We can use Private DNS in poco not in Redmi phones. The Camera is better than Redmi. It doesn't heat up like Redmi or drains the battery. The call quality is better than Redmi. Updates are faster than Redmi. And whatever apps you said I didn't get that pre-installed. And almost all bloatware can be removed. In short the poco launcher is better than Mii launcher. Battery performance is good and doesn't heat or drain faster. No Cleaner Master for Cleaner app. It was from Avast. The camera is 48 in Poco M2 pro..64 in Redmi Note 9 Pro.

This 14th August my poco m2 pro completed it's 2 years. So, I thought why not give an update.

1. Surprisingly the battery is very good, it still spits out 8.5-9h+ SOT on wifi. No gaming BTW, brightness 50%+ all the time.
I always charge phone overnight with supplied charger and cable. (With out official cable it won't charge at 33w)
2. Display is mah, no too bad, no so good , topical mid range display. Though no dead pixels or anything.
3. Camera: total trash, only good for documentation.
4. Speaker: avg
5. Ear speaker: fine
6. Proximity: below avg.
Experience:
Phone exterior condition is like new as I use case and screen protector.
The first 3 month I used miui then due to update I lost my L1 , went to customer care they open my phone (don't know why) and try to tell it's network problem, the audacity surprised me, at last they told can't do anything.
So, I switch to custom rom and used for 1 year + with no issues. I was using Evolution x , then suddenly i see a SOT drop, it was giving 6h+ (maybe because it needed a fresh install).
Then I head L1 issue fixed, and I came back to miui. And using it as of now and working fine with Excellent battery backup. And I'm extremely caution of updating the miui. I would still say custom rom is more snappy and responsive.

The bottom line is , you really don't need to update the phone every year or two.
I plan to use the phone as long as possible like 5 years (I believe it will last as my friend is still using Redmi note 4). I would change the battery at it's 3-3.5y even if it's ok as it would assure the long run.
Just treat the phone well it will long last as morden phones are pretty powerful.

Poco m2 the worst models that ever seen so far. Performance wise it's 0.but out look & the screen saver is good. But the purpose of buying Android phone not been fulfilled., by that the mi group of companies should ashamed to launch the product like this

Its Ads free, comes with POCO launcher and also comes in 6GB/64GB variant..thats main difference with support of 4G+...

When they are rebranding in automotive industry these days...so whats the big deal about the phones..the parent company is the same after all.

This is just frustrating Realme Narzo and Redmi Poco...it took me 30mins to decide...

But poco is the sub brand of redmi

It's good...I just got and some privacy issues weren't there and you can disable each app like when you are using that time it can collect info...in price range Poco is better than Redmi Note 9 pro and min ram is 6 GB with 64GB internal which isn't in Note 9..and the price is higher than poco for similar 4GB ram variant
And Poco Launcher is better than Mi launcher

There are similar People like u around the world , Then Why do u exist...

Exactly bro. Exactly same as Redmi Note 9 Pro with same Snapdragon processor. What a waste of money it is.

I have a Samsung evo 64 GB SD card. It's not corrupted, all the files and folders open in every other device except my new poco m2 pro.
In poco m2 pro too, certain PDF files are accessible and the other files and folders show 0b. I have tried default file manager as well as google files.

These privacy issues really concern me.

Got it for Rs. 11,750 for 4gb variant in BBD Flipkart.
Worth the price.

I bought m2 pro this month. No banned apps were there. In fact it gave a notification stating that mi browser will be removed as per government rule. Please do not malign. Wait and check.

I hope they stop this rebranding stuffs. This only confuses the users, Poco can design it's own following the legacy of Poco f1. Redmi and Poco are both globally known so it's just confusing people.

Xiaomi did a great job with bringing a truly flagship killer brand "Poco" and the first iteration Poco F1 nearly killed every competitor in that price bracket. We all were expecting something really good and unique phones from this Xiaomi Sub brand but with M2 Pro, X2 and F2 Pro they literally killed that reputation with a snap by bringing re-branded version of already released mediocre phones. Xiaomi could have carry forwarded the legacy Poco F1 earned and created a sub - brand which could easily compete Oneplus but they just failed in that.

Itsclearly an answner to realme 6 because xiomi wil fail if they compete with note 9 pro 18 w charging refresh rate 48mp camera pubg graphics so with m2 pro they can handle the fast charging

They are taking away the image of poco that was made by poco f1
