thanks goodness MAPPA isn't taking one punch man, but I do think they can animate it really good, but currently with murata's new studio animating it would probably take time, but it'll probably attract other professional animators and make the production faster, it's only the matter of time MAPPA's employees may turn against itself, but time only could tell.

Manga > Anime. I suggest you stop watching anime and start reading manga.
Anime industry is shit where workers get underpaid and overworked all the time to make an adaptation of someone else's work. And the result is most of the time is an inferior product. There are many reasons for why that it. First of all, they are literally different types of media. Manga techniques and tropes some times look awful in anime, which doesn't stop some studios from trying to adapt it one to one. The examples of good anime adaptations are few and far between and even then you would not lose anything from reading manga instead of watching anime. Another reason why manga is better than anime is because almost all mangas are original stories authored by a single creative mind. Mangakas often get away with experimental stuff and have far more freedom of expression.
When reading a manga that hasn't been adapted yet, you never know what you will get or when will the story finish. And most of the time you can expect the story to finish in a satisfying way, as the beginning and the end are written by one person. Watching anime on the other hand is something else entirely. You always know how long the season will be, but you don't know if the story will be finished or if executives will decide that the series is unprofitable and your story stops in the middle on nowhere.
Take Chainsaw man for example. The whole arc of part 1 is around 96 chapters, which is as long as one of the later parts of JoJo, meaning, it would require you at least 48 episodes it cover it completely. So they make 12 episode season which only covers around 35 chapters. If they would release one such season every year, it would take them 3-4 years to finish a story that is already finished in a superior manga form.
I've been anime fan for my whole life, but the older I become, the stronger my hate towards the industry. It's notoriously evil and there are no reasons to watch anime instead of manga, if you're able to read that is.

One Punch Man Season 2 is by far one of the most butchered and ugly anime I ever seen for a series that was already an established and beloved title. I really hope 3 is good, no matter who ends up getting the job on it.
