ОтветитьI am buying a long sitting inoperable D4D this week. It is under cover and supposedly runs. I can only hope my D4D starts and runs this easily. We are scheduled to pick it up this weekend. I also hope we can manhandle it onto our trailer.

ОтветитьMany years ago one of my friends told me that some one else had a problem just like yours. The people who owned the dozer dug a huge deep hole and pushed it into the hole and hurried the Bulldozer. That was up around New Washington Indiana.

ОтветитьSo if either is so bad for diesel engines, why would the put a "cold start " either buttons in a lot of equipment and trucks.....think just about every diesel powered piece of farm machinery I have ran had either buttons..................and they still put them on to this day.

ОтветитьWow. Pretty fancy tool kit; a real ball peen hammer, not the claw hammer I used to fix my 1949 D4 7U with. Mine had an electric start pony motor that every removable component on the tractor was built around. Yours did good with no smoke on cold start even after all that time sleeping. Keep on keepin' on bring that old iron back awake.

Ответитьit may help if the fuel cock under the tank is on and you prime the pump on injector pump . and empty crap out of canister under pump also
