Very helpful, thx a lot!
ОтветитьWell, It works for me too but i dont get the permission to view my nfs folder on ubuntu server. It is owned by root:root :P
Ответитьwrong, for ubuntu you need to use nfs-common package there is no nfs-utils on debian based distributions
ОтветитьThank you! I spent days trying to get this working and you got me up and running in minutes!
ОтветитьFYI: If you need to access via ios use Synology Drive Server instead
Ответитьi tried to follow your words, but didn´t get it. Please try to speak slow and clean. Thanks
ОтветитьThis was a useful video for me. I am a Linux engineer and was trying to figure out how to setup the share from the Synology side of the solution and was having some challenges. I am running DSM v7.0.1 (I just built my NAS the other day for the first time).
I am a little confused on how I can restrict/control access to the other directories that are in the same volume I am sharing, but I will work that problem separately. So much to learn with this new device.
Great video!
Very helpful indeed. Many thanks.
ОтветитьI love the Video. very clear and instructive video.

ОтветитьI just get access denied by server while mounting message
ОтветитьGracias por la información

ОтветитьThank you. This video solved my issue, it is much much clearer than other videos. Good job!
ОтветитьThanks so much - very clear and instructive video. I've seen others post instruction with a lot more options in the fstab command for NFS but yours was actually the first one that worked for me! Greatly appreciate you.
