Jul 2022: Multi-factor authentication, auto-delete expired docs in Firestore

Thank you! To clarify. I already have a "Created timestamp" document in my collection so with TTL, I'd need to set up "Expired timestamp" and Firestore would delete files after "some time" nearly 72 hours after the "Expired timestamp" that I specify, correct?

I haven't checked yet, would be awesome if TTL can be used on user accounts. Such as if not logged into for longer than 6-months, remove. Is this possible?

Instead of specifying a ttl field for firestore please implement something which deletes based on a created timestamp field and asks for a duration explicitly. As most of the documents use ServerTimestamp its not possible to create a TTL field without having to write a cloud function separately. Or another implementation could be same as object lifecycle management for cloud storage.

Please create the functionality to recover archived dynamic links! Because you can file a dynamic link but you can't recover it to edit. And it keeps working even if it's archived so you kinda lose that link for other uses. It's a dead end. Please I look forward for this development!

Is it possible to Shuffle or have Randomized queries?
If i enter location 1, location 2, location 3 in that order thats what i get back in my app. I NEED to be able to shuffle the listings randomly. Anyone know how?

Thanks for the ttl for firestore option. I am now waiting for ttl for storage ( Use Case - WhatsApp status). Though it can be implemented on our own still it would be a great addition.

This option is already there, just go to the cloud console and create an object lifecycle management rule for deletion.
