Holy cow. The fact that we have 8 embryos going for PGTA and we didn’t have to do more cycles do to poor egg quality tells me how blessed we are even if it didn’t seem so after trying for years and having failed pregnancies. What a beautiful story! I'm so happy for this couple and little baby Zain! Recently I had my 3rd failed IVF so this topic is really sensitive for me... I'm trying so hard to hold back my tears right now! I was considering using donor eggs. And I'm still looking into it. But after I discovered mitochondrial replacement therapy/mitochondria donation, I couldn't just pass by. I thought it was something new in reproductive medicine. But this video is from 2015, so I guess the treatment is still gaining popularity. Why so many negative comments? I think this's amazing option for couples who couldn't conceive through regular IVF. And I'm sure it improved and progressed during last couple of years. I'm kind of pinning my hopes on this treatment… I don't know much about it, still looking for more information.
