How to FIX Headphone Jack on PS5 Controller without Opening (No Sound or Mic)

I squeezed my controller too hard and now my audio isn’t working 😅

The headphone jack in the ps5 controllers are absolutely trash, they are the reason I had to buy new controllers in the past! I even bought a new headset because this problem kept occuring and I didn't know the cause! Never buying a cable headset again my next will be bluetooth 1000%

I bought new headsets and everytime when I connect the headset the jack of the headset works messed up the sounds goes on and off specially when I move the controller. But when I hold the jack with my finger the sound stays clear and I hear again. So that means the jack moves a bit does anyone have a have a idea how to fix this . Without me buying a new headset cause I already have a new one
And I tried to do this in the video.

The only issue I have is 3.5mm connections. If you touch the port or the cable moves a little, you will get lots of static

My mic isn’t working on my controller but works on other devices and when it’s on my controller everything sounds underwater and has a huge echo

Yo the toothpick method worked man. I could only find a wooden kebab stick, broke off the tip then filed down the rough edge so it’s smooth and not frayed. Pointed the stick in at the right angle and tapped it with my phone and now it’s working way better. Thanks 🙏

Ok so how is that fixing it tho? Cus mine acts like I need a 3.6mm (doesn't exist) instead of 3.5mm. Like that tiniest difference and it would work. If I press firmly on the jack that's plugged in they work. They second I let go, they don't.

so probs a slight dif issue been whenever i plug any headset in it makes this werid noise and sound sounds like its underwater anyway to fix this? i have dropped my controller a few times but even then it still worked along with the buttons and such but now its not and everyone in a party with me said it sounds loud and i can barely hear them

My headphone jack plug entirely seems t me moving down and i have to push the jack back up for it to work o hate it and died too many time to count new controller did the same thing

When I plug my headphones into the controller is just doesn’t register the headphones that are plugged in but the controller makes the sound

DUDE YOU SAVED MY LIFE. I hit tf out of my controller and the black lining had popped out. I removed it with video and then followed these 3 steps and it worked!!!! Thank you bro!

Tapping worked, broke the Qtip in half and used that. Not perfectly fixed but a solution nonetheless

I only had a q tip so I cleaned the port, blew it with my mouth and broke the q tip to insert it into the port and tapped on it, the audio kinda works but it is very quiet

Why does technology nowadays have to be so weak? My headset port still works on my dual shock 4 after a couple of years, the dual sense headset port only lasted less than a year

I discovered that the trapezoid shaped headphone jack on my ps5 controller itself was wiggling because the wire on my headphones has some weight to it.

So, I jammed a small piece of rolled up paper towel between the headphone jack and the controller then super glued the paper towel in place.

It no longer wiggles and my audio never cuts out anymore.

DIY fix.

I am only getting sound out of one side of my headphones but when i use the headphones on another controller, they work so the headphone jack on the controller is the problem. I tried this but it didn't work. Any other ways to fix that or am I just going to have to get a new controller. It was a $250 scuf controller so I would really like to be able to keep this one!

Is there a video on removing the actual headset piece out of the controller? My headsets broke the plastic on the headset port on the controller.

My headset works but it has like some kinds of whirling noise, like if you put your phone underwater and record, that's how it'll sound, I thought it was my headset but it works fine with my other controller
