This just reminded me when I saw Crazy Rich Asians... I didnt get it. It was just rich money obsessed a-holes being awful and shallow to each other for over an hour. It was miserable to watch. When I was a kid, during Chinese New Year, I saw adults are greeting each other with Gong Xi Fa Cai, aka Hope u get rich. I wondering what’s wrong about happy new year, like other races/holiday greeting each other. When I grew up, I finally know it, the best way of get happy, is getting rich. In another word, GXFC mean hope u get happy. Crazy, isn’t it?
