Ответитьso if what i read is right and we get a grimoire for each weapon skill line (6) each guild (6) world (3) alliance war (2 or 3) then we are looking at at least 17 new grimoires which is gonna lead to thousands of potential combinations, yes a lot of them wont be as sought after as some but this is one of the major things i luv about eso the sheer amount of choice to mix n match as u see fit, especially if like me u avoid meta builds and playstyle and like figuring out quirky fun setups for enjoyment

ОтветитьEven with all of this…..dont get it twisted, there will always be the required “ meta”set ups.
Cookie- cutter builds will all be the same. We will all have the same “ crafted” skills and such…. Etc etc and so on and so forth
Consume a soul gem to gain ulti? Maybe price of soul gems will go up. Maybe I can finally catch up to the 10,000 (literally) soul gems I have.

ОтветитьI agree there should be more elemental options on the skills than we are currently seeing though I kind of understand why they're doing it I guess. My current role play is a frost bow warden and the issue I run into is there are only a couple of frost warden skills that really make sense on a DPS bow build. It would be great to use vault or another bow skill that could be morphed to deal frost damage. Maybe it wouldn't be BIS but it would feel great for my role playing!
ОтветитьI doubt there will be lots of flexibility and customisation, there will probably be a few meta options or even it's gonna be a tiered system where some effects are lower level and others higher because gaming industry.

I can see that being the main reason why people stop playing MMOs. The lack of discovery.
Finally, templar tank can be good too with this new system

ОтветитьHopefully they roll back the armor changes that have taken place over the last few years. The 'play how you want' and 'any armor/any class etc' is undermined by the changes to armor to make heavy armor less wearable for anything other than tanking. Also, the sword and shield should be a weapon useable for dps as well as tankng. Of course, it should have the best blocking, but other weapons should have a parry to block that mixes in other skills to increase parry vs block etc etc

I hope we could use Oblivion damage as an ability trait once it is released, cause it basically the reverse of execution. The more health a target has - the more damage it takes. So we could use 3 spammables: one for high health enemies, one for low health enemies and another one for something in the middle

ОтветитьGreat video as always, super excited for Scribing, been asking for this for years (now finish hybridization please). I'm in the same boat as you, I really hope they haven't made a mistake with only allowing specific elements. I think it's a must with a system like this and would open so much more theory crafting and build freedom to RP how you want.
For resource type, ss much as I'd like it if we could choose freely, I think it could interesting to have it be based on the 1st script you choose. Eg. Martial damage types for physical/bleed/poison/disease will give stamina cost, magical damage types for magicka.. maybe some utility based options could be health cost. Maybe a 2nd script could convert it from red/blue/green resource to ult, for much more potency.
I'd be happy with full freedom, but I would not be happy if the Grimoires base decides the resource type. That would be a huge missed opportunity and just means half of the skills won't get used for any given build in most cases.

My biggest concern surrounds Necro in PvP. Hoping to have a skill which can provide Brutality and Sorcery as a spamable, but then also needing an execute. With bar space being an issue, I can't see getting everything from one skill, and still being forced to run DW execute, which can easily tank your stam pool. It'll be a razor thin line to walk, but I'm hoping it can be pulled off.
The idea of a fighters guild skill that could provide Brutality and Sorcery is also intriguing due to the weapon and spell damage passive for slotting a fighters guild skill.
All of this seems pretty cool so far.
I hope they add more skill lines to this system in the future. It'd be great if we could customize the Psijic skill line specifically.

ОтветитьNow we'll have lightning damage with soul touch, and fire damage with the fire rune trap. Next we need frost and then every class can do all 3 elements.

how long is rallying *carry*, a set that gives a full damage set, PLUS OVER 12 PIECES OF GEAR WORTH OF TRAIT ON TOP GIVING A POTENTIAL 20+ PIECES OF GEAR WORTH OF TRAIT ON ONE BUILD
when someone not using that set is VERY limited to a maximum of EIGHT pieces if they choose to use a shield.
