tryin out this build recently, for all of you AE players if you want to slightly upgrade your armor during phase 1, the leather scout helmet, boots and bracers fit amazingly well with the stormcloak cuirass and provide more defense than their fur counterparts and torturer's hood

After phase three i like to turn to a vampire . Roleplaying that he want to join harkon for the immortallity inorder to keep his legacy for eternity

I would love it if you could do a completionist build like this but going from bad to good. A redemption arc.

I found this build really challenging, especially transitioning between phase 1-2

This is seriously fantastic. I’m currently using this as a guide while I work through a “vanilla plus” run and I’m having an absolute blast. It’s probably much trickier to pull off, but if you figure out a way to RP a completionist build for Fallout 4 - I would love to see it!

This build is really cool but one small thing for me is mehrunes’ Razor i get were using it in stealth and it has a small chance for an instant kill but why are we using that specifically instead of putting a few into one handed(I KNOW THAT I CAN DO IT LATER ON)

Does the character join the Volkihar vampires or the dawn guard

I actually do builds like this a lot, but the actual backstory and role playing you did with this is seriously impressive! I’ll definitely be giving this a shot on my next play through. Also love the interpretation of Konahrik’s mask.

Just wanted to add: something I usually do in my playthroughs to better explain the dragonborn’s descent, is attribute the massive influx of dragon souls to his increasingly questionable decisions. Dragons are, by their very nature, conquerors after all. So it makes sense that absorbing countless dragon souls would slowly affect his personality.

The way I see it, it adds just enough to bridge the gap between the character thinking about joining the Dark Brotherhood, for example, and actually doing it. They may be at a low point where they mill it over in their head, and they may find it tempting, but the act of actually joining them and engaging in assassinations is very different. Having a corrupting presence like Dragon Souls, or anything else, does just a bit more to justify that leap.

about the vampire gloves, u can get endless pairs for free by getting bloodchill manor [one of the anniversary edition homes] its the vampire house. just wait for a courier to bring u a dinner invitation and go slay the vampires to get the home and there will be gloves and all vampire gear in the home and it respawns after about a week i believe💜 I LOVE ur builds. please make more😭

I love takes on Dragon Priest Builds, and this is no exception. I am actually working on my own, with Ebony Spell Knight armor as his gear (but the Konahrik mask instead of the helm). Ultimately the only Warrior skills I would use are Heavy Armor and Smithing. He is mostly a mage (Destruction with a Fire and Shock focus, Restoration, Enchanting, and maybe Conjuration for Daedra), and some Thief skills (mostly Speech, but Alchemy is an option). I wouldn’t exploit the triple crafting, but rsther use it to support magic, earn coin, and provide gear for allies. I want to make him a NG Battlemage type character who is an ambassador of magic and the dragons, and like the Stylite Storm, would be an archmage who helps investigate and contain supernatural threats.

This is how I’ve been trying to play Skyrim for a while now and finally someone has a guide. Thank you king

I have just reached the second phase of this build. I like the idea of donning robes for my endgame, but i found that a two-handed build needed heavy armor. You could stick with heavy armor, but its making my transition into a thief and mage more difficult than i care for. I suggest changing Kanahrik's primary weapon to something one-handed. This will allow him to use his free hand to cast healing and ward is the first phase. This will also allow you to assassinate npcs easier when you swith from warrior to rogue.
Also, I think Kahnarik would see Hircine's lycanthropy as a blessing, but unmodded warewolf in Skyrim sucks so i get the choice from a player's experience perspective.

Is this the middle brother in the knight story?

Very good build, dynamic characters are the best. And this would be even more PHENOMENAL with a few good mods!

i think a dragon priest staff could work well with this build

Personally my end game armor with a build like this would be mirrak’s robes instead with konahrikas the final piece cause it actually fits surprisingly well with them and you could go into alteration to get the magicka absorption with the atronach stone to get full magic immunity. So instead of blocking I’d go into alteration instead

I found infiltrating the thalmor better during phase 1 for the civil war then leaving the rest of the main quest till end of phase 1

I love the completionist angle! I’d love to see more builds with this style, because I usually try to make my builds with “how can I do X faction on this?” in mind.

konahrik being a two hander swinginh brute sounds a bit meh, definitely not priest like

I like this. It's how I played my completionist playthroughs. Only instead of wearing Emperor's Robes I donned General Tulius Armor instead. It fits really well with Konahriik. Boots and Gauntlets would be Golden Saint to fit the gilded aesthetic while it all being heavy armor.

I'm frightened by the fact that I not only thought of pretty much the exact same concept, that being a "dynamic build" (I called it a phase-build), but also that fact that they both end with the Konahrik mask being obtained. It's weird how this stuff happens.

But who was first to get the idea?

The backstory was great, so was the order of quest lines. The final gear and combat style to me was lacking. Dragon priests use alot of magic, so switching to a staff and using flesh spells with conjuration atronachs is really a dragon priest

Finally finished the build and I loved it, moving onto the DLCs now. Just curious if Konahrik would join the Dawnguard or Volkihar

I had a similar build. I did the king that Ulfric Stormcloak shouted to death. I role-played that the shout didn't kill him but rather sent him through a time loop that aged him and dropped him on the road where the imperials picked him up. It ended with him being tempted by power in becoming a dragon priest.

I've been playing this build and I decided to upgrade my battleaxe in phase 1. I plan to finish the Companions first and use Wuthraad in the Civil War. I also grabbed the Daedric Mail since it is light armor and I think it goes well with the dragon priest mask. I chose Myrwatch as my home. I think a tower like that fits well.

That was a really good introduction to the character, it explains why his skills are low and has a believable backstory.

Rewatching this because gotta know how I'm supposed to progress this build right so I don't accidentally make just another two handed build.

LOVE builds that take on names from the lore, like our good lad Konahrik here! Ever thought of doing a build that was a reincarnation of Ahzidal, or perhaps Vahlok the jailor?

Altmer 8th level:
Destruction 50 = Adept + Augmented Shock 1 + Augmented Frost 1.
Restoration 30 = Recovery 1.
Spells: Chain Lightning and Bolt + Ice Storm and Spike, Lightning and Frost Atronach.
Main clothing and jewelry: Necromancer Amulet + Archmage's Robes.
Blessing of Stone and Shrines: Apprentice Stone + Shrine of Julianos.

At 8th level, a lightning atronach is beyond the control of priests.
Skyrim is a game about auto-leveling enemies and if you want to grind for a long time, then you have not understood the essence of the game! At level 8, I will close all the content that interests me in a day, and you will close it at +40 level in a week!
And yes, I'm talking about Legendary difficulty.

You do have a mistranslation in your dovahzhul

While you did call Konahrik right as Warlord it does not also translate to Vanquisher, in the Soul Cairne Durhnahviir calls you Quanarrin which meant Vanquisher. I may have my spelling slightly off but I'm pretty sure on my lore
