Orange Females are rare. & she’s a cutie!!! I was raised with cats that had babies and my Mum had a special bond w/one of our cats. She got pregnant and she was following my mum around the house mid push!Maxi who btw was THE BEST CAT EVER trusted me and loved me so much that she would let me pick them up newborn! Ugh so cute

My dog was a doula. She would help cats give birth. She would break umbilical cords and lick the kittens clean. She did this on multiple occasions with many different cats.

I have been a cat midwife for many years… it comforts them in their labor and stress so much to have affection and encouragement.

I dare say cats do have their favorite human and remembers them well. One of the most wholesome moments of my life when I assisted my cat deliver babies in a similar way. When my cat grew up, she became distant, stopped coming to me or playing and spent most time outdoors. But one day while i was a sleep after a long night shift and everyone else still awake in the house, she comes only to me in my bed waking me up, trying to get into my blanket, crying and gentelly biting me like in this video. I realised she was distressed and later that she was pregnant, it was her first litter. I quickly put a box with an old blanket in the corner and put her there but she kept coming back to me. So I stayed there with her throughout the delivery of all kittens. Stroking her, reassuring her and even holding one of her legs for her, I guess that gave her a bit of comfort a d reassurance. 😿😿😿😻
